I dont see how she can be pro-war if her biggest fuckup was failing to respond to an act of war on our Benghazi consulate (as someone who is pro-war, I'd have the Marines on the ground in 72 hours)

well that wasn't a biased response at all

Ok fine.

chadisyounggg. a less biased opinion is this: do they support further relationships with Israel, or not?

Insert picture from original post for reasons why anti are they way they are, google can give you pro reasons.

also, you and trojanmannn have three letters in your user names. i thought this was interesting.

No shit man, but that's honestly par for the course in government. If you avoided voting for everybody who was pro-corporate or pro-war you wouldn't really have anybody left to vote for. I'm considering abstaining this election, that's how fucking shitty the choices are to me.

I have no clue on american politics i have heard of this Ssama guy though so i dont know if Hillary is gonna do a good job or not, but it could be fun to see all those feminists protect Hillary and then see Hillary do a terrible job or something like that i dunno, could be fun to see them try and support her (if) bad decidions
User avatar #241 - ThatsSoFunnyHeHe (04/13/2015) [-]
Yeah lets burn down out country to prove a point to the feminists!

I'm far left and I have no idea how Hilary is considered a democrat

As i said i dont know much about American politics, but im pretty sure it wont be that bad... will it?
User avatar #356 - manofbeardliness (04/14/2015) [-]
Because the political spectrum isn't just left to right. There's both conservative democrats, and liberal republicans. She falls into the conservative democrat category. In the social sense she is a progressive liberal, but her economic standings are almost always more conservative. This makes her a far more desirable candidate than if she was socially and fiscally liberal.
User avatar #355 - TestesFly (04/14/2015) [-]
The most obvious contributor is because of the two-party system, obviously. When only two parties are considered capable of getting votes, corporations can easily afford to make huge campaign contributions to all viable candidates. That means only two per position per election. Anyone who calls them out doesn't get that healthy funding injection, and therefore has a harder time getting out the vote than better funded read: corporate-funded candidates.

All good points except the pro-Monsanto liberal bullshit. And I'm saying this as a liberal...but a liberal who understands the science behind GMOs and knows they pose no health risks.
#291 - grandterskrasao (04/13/2015) [-]
Yea no. GMO's are fine. In fact, they're damn near necessary nowadays with how much food America consumes. The fact of the matter is though, is Monsanto is the exact example of an evil corporation.

User avatar #229 - wotterpatch (04/13/2015) [-]
I'm pro GMO anti monsanto

They're a serious dick of a company
User avatar #191 - akkere (04/13/2015) [-]
Anti-Monsanto != Anti-GMO
Monsanto is a company riddled with poor business practices.
Care to expound on what you talked about in your trasngenic course that disproves the Indian Farmer observation? Because there's a quite a bit backing up the link of the failure of numerous Indian farmers to Monsanto's Bt cotton plantations.
www.hindustantimes.com/business-news/ministry-blames-bt-cotton-for-farmer-suicides/article1-830798.aspx
www.thehindu.com/todays-paper/article212295.ece
Aside from that, they've also made attempts to control entire farming markets like the Chinese soy, cotton, and corn markets, which if a page is to be taken from India's book, could prove disastrous as well if things aren't changed.

It should be obvious that GMOs are the future and ideal solution to ending nutritional deficiency (i.e. world hunger), but if companies like Monsanto remain at the helm then the anti-GMO redundancy will only prevail in banning a great thing.
User avatar #302 - iviagic (04/13/2015) [-]
No.

Saying that is like saying being anti-Volkswagen is being anti-car.

Monsanto is an asshole of a company because of its business practices, not its business products
User avatar #307 - akkere (04/13/2015) [-]
Eh?
!= means "not"
"Anti-Monsanto != Anti-GMO" means "Hating Monsanto doesn't mean you hate GMO"
User avatar #309 - iviagic (04/13/2015) [-]
I must've overlooked that.

Usually people use =/= instead of !=
User avatar #308 - akkere (04/13/2015) [-]
!= means "not equal to"*
User avatar #35 - thesoulless (04/13/2015) [-]
The problem with Monsanto isn't their GMOs, it's that their business practices are so bad that it wouldn't be surprising if their name translated to "Literally Hitler."
#38 - Absolute Madman (04/13/2015) [-]
Can you name any examples that aren't the easily countered ' sueing farmers who accidentally had their crop' and 'forcing farmers not to be able to replant' ?
User avatar #57 - rawesome (04/13/2015) [-]
wait, isn't that bad enough...?
#63 - Absolute Madman (04/13/2015) [-]
Considering both cases are bullshit, not really.
Firstly, the singular case where a farmer stole their seed and then tried to claim cross-contamination was proven that he was lying so thats a null point. The myth of their evil ways still persists.
Secondly, their seeds are made sterile so as to avoid unforseen mutation in following generations. It also has the nifty feature of forcing farmers to buy from them year on year. Know whop else does this? Every seed supplier in America. The only difference is that they do it contractually so the farmer agrees not to replant and can be heavily fined if they decide to say fuck it.
#32 - Absolute Madman (04/13/2015) [-]
Most people are anti-Monsanto because it has a reputation for giving poor farmers loan-subsidised GM grain that doesn't give seed after harvest, rather than actual grain that does.

It draws them into a debt spiral that got a region in India labelled the suicide belt after all the Monsanto-supported farmers became unable to pay for all the grain they had to buy each year just to survive, and killed themselves.
User avatar #34 - Harkonnen (04/13/2015) [-]
That Indian farmer myth is not true. We talked about it in my Transgenic course.
And if the crops were fertile, environmentalists would complain that the crop is contaminating the natural genepool.
User avatar #175 - parashizo (04/13/2015) [-]
"I talked about it in my course, I am a professional"

gtfo, every professor can talk bullshit. for example that one law prof from Usa/Canada who wanted to legalize murder on men

Making people chose can sorta "help" make racism more common. A black guy would only use black emojis, while the white guy would use the white or whatever emojis. This creates polarization and makes it easier to go "Oh look at that guy, he's different from me". If it was one "color neutral" emoji it could notice "could". I'm not saying any of this is facts. help lessen racism because people are forced to look away from color and more on the personality beneath the skin.
User avatar #9 - skumbaner (04/13/2015) [-]
It's because they don't know what racist means, to them it's just another buzzword to throw around.
