That just means he's fast with telekinesis, not necessarily powerful. Blaster bolts are only plasma, which isn't very dense, and they don't move faster than the eye can track, so it wouldn't take a huge amount of force to stop one.

It'd be pretty funny if he almost didn't see the bolt coming. didn't have his saber ready to block. He caught the bolt on raw reflex and is totally aware of how close some punk-ass rebel came to killing him.

All the rest of the scene is of him trying to play off how he almost shit his pants.

technically they do, i mean a blaster bolt blurs because of the fact that our eyes can't keep up with it, but we still see it, making it look longer than it actually is, so while he had the reflex, to do it from a position he wasn't looking at makes it completely instinctive, force intuition, what bugs me is that the bolt would under his spell not stay the same length, in my opinion.

Agreed, nor should it have resumed movement.
#83 - thorseph (12/23/2015) [-]
it may have dissipated, or continued it's movement from where it left off after his force's influence left, for that purpose i think it was just more thematically sound to let it continue... however that implies that once kylo effects something with the force through paralysis, they are no longer subject to forces such as that of light, or physics, based on how it plays out in the movie, that puts his force paralysis on quite another level.

Perhaps it was some sort of time fuckery?

and this is the problem, if he has that sort of control with no noticeable repercussions he has the potential to become the greatest sith that has ever lived, as long as he fills a few requirements vader didn't like killing someone he loves, check, or not getting completely crippled and losing three limbs, making it harder to use the force because he has prosthetics, check... yep, he's got this shit, no one sees that cause he's a whiny little bitch though, don't think it will be the same after his training.

Monogatari. For some reason the author decided to give the different parts of the series different names, so you've got Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari, Nekomonogatari, the third season (brought to you by the Saints Row school of naming things), Hanamonogatari, Tsukimonogatari and Kizumonogatari, which isn't out yet. They go in that order.

It's actually not as silly as it looks. There's actual plot (of both the story and jiggly variety) and lots and lots and lots and LOTS of fucking talking. Naruto levels of talking. So, brace yourself for absurdity, talking and weird head tilting.

Is it a good family show? My little brother has been asking for a good movie to watch on Christmas eve. He's 9.
#15 - cadenzas (12/10/2015) [-]
it teaches a valuable lesson in not hating your family. im not really a horror fan but found this to be pretty fun.

Ummm.... Its like a, creepy/funny movie. There were points that were fairly tense and caused me to jump a little, so if your brother handles scary movies really well then he should be totally okay for this.

And I'd gladly send you my version of the game. But there are 3 playthroughs and each play through has 3 levels. The copy id send you would be a grade class game. This was just to turn in as a grade. I have big plans for redefining all the art and sounds and adding much much more content. There was so much I had wanted to do but this is what i came up with for the time allotted for the final project.

May I have your email? I'll send you a onedrive link to the exe. Once you play it let me know how you think the overall gameplay is. Is it challenging? And is it fun? those are the main things im concerned about.
