Been there. I used to work for WW as a smith, and locker AM. We once put in an order for 3 AR15 plat's for a custom shop order, and they sent us 30. The problem is the paperwork said 3, as did the transfer documents, records, etc, meaning both the company higher ups and the ATF were flipping the fuck out over 27 missing AR-15 rifles that were sitting forgotten in an unmarked(the 3 we were supposed to receive were properly marked) box in my bosses office. From what I remember he thought the boxes were full of paper.

It seems to be more of a, let's call it, "untreated human trait", loads of people growing up in the "modern school" where it is oh so loated to think that you can be something more, or that if you are less you will not be accepted.
We hide the traits that makes us different or takes us out of others comfort zone so that the "they" will accept "us" even if the they and us is built on moldy wood and clay ground. So we come on the internet and let us for example take the old tumblr thing:
"Tumblr is the place were the victims become the bullies they always wanted to be".
These self-diagnosed people have never had the ability to stand up for themselves and are thus seeking attention, while others are using their thinking or artistry to appeal to these people in a fit of thoughtfullness I suppose, but that's only my five cents and probably horrible English so take it for what some other jackass on the internet wrote, eyh?

Whats wrong with Taurus? I have heard bad things about their revolvers, but I don't know anyone who has had issues with the autos. I'm a Ruger man myself, but I wouldn't balk at buying a Taurus
User avatar #59 - Muppetz (09/06/2014) [-]
Its the exact opposite. Their revolvers are often excellent guns, but their semi-autos are garbage. The 24/7 will straight up go off if you shake them too hard.
I work in a gun store having to deal with the people that buy them. Taurus makes cheap low end handguns. Its barely a step above a Kel-tec, some might not even be that generous.

I blame the industry. animation is obviously more catered to kids nowadays, and despite the size of Disney animation studios, they still have to conform to the family friendly nature of modern mainstream animation.

I understand your point with disney having used more mature themes in the past, which generally made the films more enjoyable for adults. but I have trouble with the two films that you used for comparison,
one threatens to burn down a city for love,
one threatens to freeze over an entire country for power.
User avatar #215 - Muppetz (09/04/2014) [-]
I mean pretty much every Disney film is just a remake of very old fairy tales.
I just think that they're being more sensitive about how literally they portray them.

Like Hunchback, it was child friendly, but an adult would understand the adult themes behind it, and be able to recognize the kind of dark imagery underneath the pretty colors.
Whereas Frozen (since its the easy example)
Was pretty PG about how literally they interpret the original story. In which the Devil appears and some theological shit goes down.
Like there didnt seem to be any real "adult" themes to Frozen.
Like yeah there was a bad guy who tried to kill Elsa. But that wasn't necessarily his original plan. He just wanted his own kingdom.

Unlike Frolo who was pretty straight up about waging a genocidal war on Gypsies and literally burning them alive. Only conflicting when he got sprung for a hot gypsy chick. In which case he (once again) is pretty straight forward about "fuck me or i'll burn you at the stake"

All in all, I'm not saying modern Disney movies DONT have adult themes. I'm just saying it seems like they're somewhat more neutered compared to older ones.
