I already have. It kind of got lame in the later seasons. Like I loved it to death but nothing kept me gripped as well as Breaking Bad.

I don't know, I thought the show had really dragged out moments and some plot holes.
Every scene with Skyler for instance in Season 2 or 3 was just miserable, for instance. Or like when Gustavo Fringe kills the guy who nearly memorized Walter's method of meth production for no logical reason. I just thought that was completely out of character.
User avatar #87 - lotrfan (08/17/2015) [-]
Skylar is not nearly as bad as people say. She's at least better than Marie, and honestly only season 1 and 2 were bad for Skylar. Once she found out about Walt cooking meth, she actually served a purpose on the show Hate her all you want, but she was an integral piece of the story . As for the Gus killing his man, it was used as a fear tactic to mess with Walt and Jesse, but in reality it was because he'd been seen at Gale's apartment. Mike told Gus almost immediately that Victor (think that was his name) had been seen so you can infer that that was the main motivation behind the killing. He became a liability and needed to be taken care of anyway, so it was not at all out of character for Gus to off him in that way. The only other motivation would be because he cooked without Gus's approval which makes much less sense.

I like how you spoil that she finds out about Walt cooking and then use a spoiler warning

I was responding to someone who did the same thing spoiled Gus killing his henchman I apologize if I ruined anything for you though.

he had it nowhere near memorized. anything less then what they were currently capable of is just too bad. like how when jessi got to the other meth lab and made everybody wash everything down. to the spot.
and it was to send a message.it was of his own men who was a good cook. if he could kill him so easily, whats to stop him from killing walt and jessi. which is why they had to kill the other cook that could possibly take over.

He was on the verge of getting it. If he had kept that same guard watching over Jesse and Walter while they did their rounds like Gus was going to do anyway, he probably would've gotten the method down and could've later gotten some other chemist to help fill in the blanks; Gus has the connections to pull people like Gale again and again.

It's incredibly out of character for someone like Gus, who even outright says "I don't needlessly kill people" during his debut episode, to just up and murder his own men who had done literally nothing wrong except propose an alternative. It was just dumb to pull such a stereotypical move as killing your own men for an otherwise unique character who makes use of other methods to acquire intimidation.

he couldnt have gotten any guy to do that, it was incredibly hard to kill gus as it was, so he had plenty of time on his hands to have someone figure out the "recipe"

i wouldnt say it was needless. he needed them to understand just how far he was willing to go just to get them to cook.

>He needed them to understand just how far he was willing to go just to get them to cook

By killing his own men? How does that say anything? A more practical method is to threaten those close to them, i.e. Walter White's family, which he ends up doing anyway.
I understand why it was written for Gus to do the intimidation tactic, but how he did it was so out of character and just plain stereotypically dumb that it was a real turn off for the character.

Well I believe Victor had let people see him at the scene of the crime.

I've tried to watch the Wire three times now and I keep stopping three episodes in. I don't think its the shows fault though, i've been told it picks up slowly but once it starts snowballing it really gets going.

no, it's asking if your TV and computer monitor are turned on their sides when you use them, before going on to say, "No, you have your TV and computer like this when you're using them" with the next two images.

It really isn't that difficult to figure out, but neither is using a condom and your parents clearly couldn't manage that either.
