Yeah in boot we're all equally worthless, you're right that was really shitty of them to say. They never said that to us though when we were in the DFac, thankfully.

They made my platoon (4th) keep our red phase banner for an extra week, but I do actually remember people pointing out, "Holy shit those guys over there are in stick phase!" Its weird I'm only remembering that now that you mention it, but it was funny. I never talked to 11b's because there were none of them in my company (to my knowledge, certainly none in my platoon). As it is Benning, all of my DSs were infantry, and sometimes they would say shit like that. But all my DSs had tours, my SDS having been overseas five out of the twelve years he was in the service. Because of that, there's really no reason why I'd ever be upset at them shit talking, they certainly earned the pride they have in themselves. But yeah infantry usually talks a lot of shit, but if it weren't for literally every other MOS being there they wouldn't be able to operate lol. The army is a well oiled machine, and even though people say truck drivers are idiots and what have you, I certainly don't know how to drive a truck in a combat zone, and am really glad somebody does, for all of our sakes.

Wasn't our DS. Infantry OSUT guys were always on the side opposite to the DFAC. We never tried talking to them first, they always started talking shit to us first. I understand if you've been overseas for half your career but if you're in basic training like the rest of us you don't deserve to talk any shit.

Got fucked over by ROTC anyways. Was supposed to contract this semester, gave it out to some fuck before I came back from basic. Now for FY17 they don't have any more.

I'll probably go Warrant anyways. I just wanna fly. Kinda doing the opposite though by shooting shit down that flies lmao.

I remember going to SHARP/EO briefs and seeing charlie guys in the latrine with long hair. In the mornings we'd see you guys with red white and blue banners, and think, "one day we'll be there."

Shit we got ours taken away for a while and were just holding a stick the whole time.

But yeah it felt great to show that shit off.

I just hated Fort Benning because of the toxicity of the infantry fuckers. Always talking down on us at the DFAC because "hurr dur I'm in the infantry, follow me". When any motherfucker is literally trained to do their job.

The previous D company was in the same boat as we were. We were on our 2nd week when they were graduating. They were giving us shit when we had to do shit outside.

Air Defense Artillery. Talked to a MSG in ADA in my college army rotc, he was a 14T. Said it was one of the more important mos for ADA, very sought after for Active Duty. I might actually switch to active if it really is.

Basically what I do is use computer systems to detect aircraft or missiles in the sky and send the info over so some other 14 series shoots it down. That's what he said, I don't know for sure and the info I've found online isn't very detailed.

I went summer of 2014.
1st = Anderson, Robertson, and Mattlock
2nd = Green, Trowbridge (third one went through airborne school)
3rd = Bendu, White, (and a SG that went to DS school partly through the cycle)
4th (my platoon) = SDS Algorri, DS McWilliams, and DS Duhacheck.
#137 - Lmaoplanes (03/22/2015) [-]
Was your DS Anderson a hispanic looking dude with a mustache? We had an Anderson too. We also had a regular Sergeant that went thru DS school too. Forgot his name, talked funny though, we made fun of his ass all the time.

We went Summer 2014 too. (graduated Aug 1st).

Don't remember most of the other DS names but 1st platoon was

Anderson, Phillips (black guy, fucking great guy), Moore.
