The attacker had a knife. The attacker could of jumped up, stabbed him at any moment.

He had already shot 3 people. The intent to kill and injured was there, a tool to commit said crime was still in his hands.

He wouldn't of been charged.

I think he was smart not to because, regardless of reasoning, killing another human being is traumatic as all fuck?

Sure, it was an active shooter. But that doesn't automatically make that kid a cold blooded killer. He saw a chance to stop the shooter without creating red mist. Also, it clearly states the shooter was in the process of reloading the gun, right? Assuming adrenaline mixed with unfamiliarity with a new weapon? How could he have verified it even had a slug in it without wasting precious seconds?

Normal people don't kill, not even when they are given an opportunity to do so. It's not a pleasant thing. It's not something anyone should ever want to do.

Idiot kids online think killing another human being is as easy as flicking a switch, when in reality, it's often very traumatic and many soldiers are haunted by it.

Yep, you also see these 'if it was me I'd just kill them' people all the time when people discuss 'pussy' protagonists in shows that go for a realistic protagonist approach.

The body is always the first thing to be removed, they don't just start cleaning around the dead person and then just shuffle him into a trash bag with the rest of the junk.

It would seem so.

**mythael used "*roll picture*"**
**mythael rolled image** The cops/morticians remove the body. The trash and stains are the responsibility of the house/apartment owner.

Actually a special hazardous waste team is brought in.
They specifically deal with fucked up shit. One of them cleaned our house after the city flooded our basement with sewage. Real shit job, but pays well.
