#2 - What?? HOW? There must be no engine in it... or anything else.  [+] (6 new replies) 09/27/2012 on A New Way to Steal a Car -1

those new tiny european 1-liter shitboxes only way like 1200 lbs; could be possible with a group of like 7-10 people
User avatar #17 - EddFitzpatrick (09/27/2012) [-]
Few things, 1) its a dummy car, 2) theres two peoplenot 7-10, and 3, its not a 'single liter shitbox' anyway, its based on the peugot 207, designer for s2000 rally, its a 2 liter ;)
User avatar #32 - swimmingprodigy (09/27/2012) [-]
i know all those things. Obviously there were not 7-10 people.

I was only commenting that it COULD be possible to pick up and carry a car away like that. Just not exactly that car

"unfortunately, you don't know how to repair it if it breaks"
for this statement to be false, it must be true that there isnt, and there will never be, a single robot you arent able to repair... surely as an engineer you know how to repair some robots, but here we are talking about an intelligent, sentient robot that doesnt even exist in real life, and you are able to repair it even if it hasnt been invented yet?
User avatar #92 - Lambda (09/26/2012) [-]
It depends on what breaks. If its super-advanced nuclear power cell or positronic brain or something went down, yeah, I'd be up shit creek. But if it got a leak in a hydraulic line, a broken wire, or a stripped gear, that's not impossible to fix.

Robots aren't that hard to repair, mate, with a little education.

Why?
User avatar #50 to #49 - Lambda (02/09/2013) [-]

Are you a half-life fan? or did you just use the name because of the lambda itself?
User avatar #33 to #32 - Lambda (09/06/2012) [-]
I am both a half-life fan and a fan of the letter lambda.
User avatar #34 to #33 - toxicdisorder (09/06/2012) [-]
You sir, are ******* awesome. it's only on here that I find people with similar interests as me, but sadly I don't know much about the lambda itself, all I know is that it's used in math, and I think it's from the Greek (I don't really know for sure).
User avatar #35 to #34 - Lambda (09/06/2012) [-]
It's a greek letter, the scientific symbol for wavelength, and the designation of a secret lab devoted to teleportation research.
