Yeah during the first two days getting used to the car, I pissed off quite a lot of people. It also doesn't help that I tend to drive like a granny.

You'll have that, especially the granny part. Assuming it was a bit of a step up in power too? Even so you can just wave as you blow past on an entrance ramp.

Just as a heads up if the clutch does go while under warranty DO NOT say you learned to drive stick on that car. Instant void of warranty whether it was your fault or not. Had a buddies brother who bought a new cruze had it happen to him. Around 60K it went out and told the service center there was a learner who drove it a decent amount (his wife), so he had to pay for it.

Yeah probably not a big deal, it just really freaked me out because I'm not very manual savvy and it was my first time dealing with it.

Yeah i would too, I mean cars (especially new ones) are big investments so its better to be safe than sorry.

It took me awhile to learn this but its better to piss the person off behind you then try to force stuff and make it worse. Take your time and if need be pop the hazards, its better than burning up a clutch or grinding gears. Plus with that WRX you can make up that time lost waiting pretty quick.

Pennsylvania originally, which had some great old drag-ways and circuit tracks (Pocono Raceway, anyone?) Plus there was always an abundance of corn fields to do donuts in. But it was the same deal, only had about 5 months to enjoy everything. Now living in Arizona, there's tons more to do because there's only 1 month out of the year the weather is shitty. They were having a cruise-type event, dude was rollin on a tire with a death bulge, figuring a burnout would kill it and he'd trailer it home. Only it didn't burst during the burnout. Burst at 65 on the highway.

I think there are a couple of people on here from PA on here And i know how much of dicks their staties are, they are worse than Ohio staties at least they are in the open . But I have never been to Pocono, want to from everything i have heard and how track friendly it is. Would love the climate of Arizona but that "its a dry heat", bull shit. That sucks, hindsights 20/20 but should have towed it

Yeah. I really wish my old community would have focused on more beneficial things than drugs and crime. It's a great place to have car meets and shows, dragstrips and drift tracks. Lots of nice open fields and terrain. But everyone's busy shooting dope. We actually lost a few car guys a few months back due to a rollover accident, and their Scubie was totalled.

Sounds like a gear heads paradise, up here in Ohio you have 4-5 months to get all of your car fix in then huddle down for the winter. It sad to see it wasted on shit like that. If you dont mind what state are you from? And thats really sad, what happened? lose control at high speed?

They were the trend assholes; always jumping on one bandwagon or another. Now most of the dudes are gearheads because it's either that or drugs to occupy yourself with. Unfortunately the vast majority chose imports and not the good kids either while only a few actually went the muscle car route.
