I mean, it wouldn't necessarily be useless, seeing as how the horizon would probably be on the floor when it's at altitude. When you look at the plane from the side, you'd notice that nose actually points upward, in relation to the level engines.

I read it has this cool artificial horizon projected on the entire cockpit that you can only see with peripheral vision.

The number they give us is Mach 3.5...
But it apparently cruises that at partial throttle.
Full throttle is supposed to be for climbing to altitude... At over 11,500 feet per minute. It's also the reason the protocol for a missile lock, is to accelerate. Because it will exceed that speed. I'm not sure if Kelly Johnson knows what the actual top speed is.

I googled stargate and threw up the first picture I saw.

Keep in mind: they barely aired it over here, and when they did I rarely had access to the tv, missing out tremendously.

And I'm running on five hours of sleep in over a week due to a lung infection to the point I'm pretty much hallucinating where I stand and my sense of balance is FUBAR (I literally fall over if I stand up without being able to lean against a wall, which for some unhealthy reason is incredibly amusing to me).

SG-1 and Atlantis were both great shows. No need to bash one over the other. I mean, we can all agree that they were great shows and it's sad that they never made any more Stargate.

And if you dare mention SG Universe, then you're even more sick than I am.

I wish people would stop hating on Universe so much, its pretty bandwagony. It mostly suffered from being compared to its source material imo. Worst of all, it was just starting to pick up speed when it got cancelled.
#50 - GeneralLeeInsane (09/18/2016) [-]
As both an SG-1 and Doctor Who fan, picking SG:A is like favoring that one episode in a season on DW, that everyone else would just prefer to forget.
You mentioned that abomination, not I. Why would you do this to me? Why haven't you erased that whole series from memory already? God damn, I may be crazy, but that doesn't make me stupid. DAMNIT, MAN.
