I hope people do take pics as well. The group photo up there? Yeah thats probably more people than are going to be protesting the funeral, they had a few less than that when they were in richmond.

A. Anyone who enlists is 18+.
B. A strong military is necessary to protect the sovereignty of any nation.
C. The soldiers themselves obey orders. Yes atrocities are committed in war that are not ordered, but I'm referring to the "spreading of violence".
D. The vast majority of soldiers sign up because they believe that they will be protecting their family, neighbors and rights,
E. "Stupid christians" They may portray themselves as such, but are most definitely not, especially in the eyes of other christians. Just call them idiots and assholes and leave it at that.
F.Why do you hate the military?
#2128 - Yeah, but I'm talking about individual soldiers.  [+] (5 replies) 06/09/2011 on WBC to Protest Soldier's... +1

Good point and one i totally agree with.

Of course, I don't think we need to worry about these guys. When they came to Richmond to protest the holocaust museum there were only about fifteen people, and they sparked a massive counter protest. Not to mention drawing many, many people to visit it that wouldn't normally visit the museum. As protesting a marines funeral is, in some ways at least, a great deal more offensive than protesting the holocaust museum, I really want to watch what happens to these guys.

Think about it... They are being assholes to a marine - even if he is dead - this is going to end rather poorly for WBC.

(especially if any part of his company is back in the U.S.)

That's a good point, but they've been protesting at funerals for quite a while with not much contestation.

Im going to be honest here... These days most wars are fought about money not to protect our country, beliefs, anything... Not trying to insult soldiers, I complertely support our troops, but our wars are shit.
#2227 - meecha (06/10/2011) [-]
The people of America have almost taken that as a slogan recently...that we might not agree with the reasons or the war, but dammit we're supporting our troops, and the men and women who are giving their lives!
