Just tell them to make you a PFC or you will tell the I.G. office that they said you had to recruit people.

HA, I did the same thing. The poor recruiters were confused, they made me take a drug test before they would talk to me.

Tell them to make you a SPC, it's just some paperwork for them, but it's a lot of pay for you.

No. No no. No. Tankers dismount in Afghanistan, it's one of the most mountainous country in the world, and tanks do not do well in mountains. Additionally, they stopped driving tanks in Iraq back in 2010, I was there when they stopped.

your recruiter has a quota to fill. Being an army recruiter is a sweet ass job, and he will lose it if he does not make his quota. He'll say anything you want to hear to fill that quota.
Driving tanks will still be fun, it's totally awesome, you just wont be doing much of it in Afghanistan.

If his quota was to fill 19kilo's i made his job really easy because I went into the station with an intent to become one. I really didn't are what he had to say. I said I wanted to drive tanks. It was really my parents that tried to change the decision

even considering have the shit you do. and the shit you have to put up with. The general public has grown complacent with the military. It is like putting away your umbrella during a rain storm because you aren't getting wet. The second a bad thing happens the American public will turn to the military with grand expectations. much like fair weather fans

i think the military is just the easiest scapegoat to rip cash from, especially with how unhappy people are with the way this last "skirmish" has gone

You seriously must be mental/
"I think the military is just the easiest scapegoat to rip cash from..."
Do I really need to list all the countries in the world who spend more on the military than any other area, and by how much.
The military is the cash cow, especially in the Western world. Maybe only inferior (in politician speak) to banking nowadays though.

I agree 100% that the military is being robbed of its money. But just because we know it is happening and we agree that it is wrong unfortunately does not change the fact that it is happening
