Hundreds of millions of people use YouTube. Most won't care. Hell, Google loses money on YouTube anyway, so they can run it however way they want to and it won't matter.

I second Deavis here. Youtube hasn't experienced much censorship, even including the latest fiasco. But crashing youtube specifically to replace it with another site is a lot closer to censorship. Not that it will work, the plan is actually pretty silly...

Yeah, that was when they combined the two platforms, so to speak. That really made people mad. But people got over it, and YouTube didn't go anywhere. Same thing will happen now.
