Thank the "pirates" for this. It has nothing to do with Microsoft. That is the future of gaming thanks to people who didn't want to pay for games.

I don't see why this is a problem.
I had a Cd 5 days ago which i accedently broke, so i tried to install it on the harddisk but herp derp it was broke. I have no evidence this game belongs to me and i can't link it to my account.
So i need to buy it again. It was Fallout 3, and goddamnit i want that back!
This could have been avoided if i could link the CD to my account at the beginning

I don't think you understand. This basically means buying and selling used games isn't going to work anymore unless you feel like paying for the game you're buying twice. Not to mention you now have to account for the amount of space you have left on your HDD. As in, you can only have a certain number of games installed at once and if you run out of space you just have to buy a new HDD. And guess who you're probably going to be buying it from? That's right, microsoft. Brilliant, isn't it? Then again they could just allow use of standard HDDs and I could have no idea what the fuck I'm talking about right now. We'll see I suppose.

They already allow extra space, from external storage that is. Which can also be used to store games on. And i do need external storage up to 2 TB because i have lots of music and shit i'd like to be used with the Xbox.
And i'm just not a person who sells his games or buys used ones.
For those who do, maybe the fee aint that big as you think.

I understand, I'm saying the external storage that works with Xbox One might not just be any old external hard drive though. It might be sold exclusively by Microsoft. As in you can't just hop on to newegg and grab whatever you feel like for it, it might exclusively use an Xbox One external hard drive.

I've already read several places that any external storage would do but we need to see for outselfs. bad thing about the Xbox one is that it aint backwards compatible.

Hopefully that will change

Is it really not? I hadn't even heard that. You'd think it wouldn't even be an issue really. Just something that should be included without question in my opinion.

PS4 is also not Backwards compatible. But they say thjat they might create an Emulator to play the old ones.
If microsoft does this then it would be the best of 2 worlds. People not having Xbox 360 should not need an emulator and saves disk space, while the Xbox-one itself can keep its "new generation idea about how not being backward compatible makes the console more effecient"

Same with me. So idk what the fuck you're talking about but searches are part of a policeman's job.

Why?

#176 - CargeLock (05/20/2013) [-]
Because it's none of their business. If they don't have probable cause or a warrant they probably don't have a good reason to search me. And if they don't have a good reason to search me, they're probably either profiling or just doing it on a whim. Either way, they should fuck off, because it's none of their business.

You also have the right to smear your own feces all over your stomach, does that mean you should use it?

Just because you have the right to do something doesn't mean you SHOULD use it.
