It makes me nostalgic for a time I didn't live through. I just heard it a lot on the radio when I was younger and it reminds me of my innocent childhood summers. God I miss those days.

I haven't played the sequels but I just got them from the summer sale. The original is pretty good combat and story wise, but very repetitive. The enemies are all the same super soldiers except for occasional slight changes in costume and weapons.

Keeping it short is fine with me. Except when I'm in bed with my fiancee.

Today I didn't really do much except practice a presentation for Russian that I need to do tomorrow. I'm happy to see that I actually seem to know my lines because I know the language and not just because I memorized them.

Also ponyville was being bit dramatic today for my taste. Moth deleted his account for like 2 hours and everybody started posting about it, then he came back and it was like it never happened. Also a lot of people were vaugebooking.
#143 to #142 - foxrock (05/05/2014) [-]

Muse - Knights of Cydonia
User avatar #121 to #79 - CaptainKill (05/03/2014) [-]
Nah I'm not THAT big of a fan, I just played it about a month ago and thought it was a cool outfit and it would freak people out on Halloween.

I won't deny it though, when it comes to games and movies I have a pretty twisted selection in my library among more innocent games. That's what's weird about me, I can play a game like Manhunt, and then switch over to something like Scooby Doo Night of 100 Frights and enjoy it all the same.
#122 to #121 - foxrock (05/03/2014) [-]
And again, here I am, wearing cat onesies for Halloween!

How is that weird? That's not weird.
I too enjoy the occasional gory game. Though I don't play much of them cause
1. I don't have a console, and
2. My laptop can't run **** .
User avatar #123 to #122 - CaptainKill (05/03/2014) [-]
Well, most people aren't like that. I don't know anyone else who switches like that, except you apparently!

I respect you for it though!
#124 to #123 - foxrock (05/03/2014) [-]
Really?
I would've thought most people could easily just play any genre of games.
User avatar #125 to #124 - CaptainKill (05/03/2014) [-]
Well, different genres are one thing. Extreme violence being the centerpoint of a game compared to something more innocent is something else entirely.
#126 to #125 - foxrock (05/03/2014) [-]
Does Killing Floor count as a violent game?
Cause I ******* love that game, I've got over 300 hours of gameplay in it.
User avatar #127 to #126 - CaptainKill (05/03/2014) [-]
It's violent yes, but it's a different sort of thing. Manhunt and Condemned are melee focused which is pretty brutal and graphic, while Killing Floor and other shooters like that are bloody but the gunplay takes down the intensity a bit to me. It's like why movies about serial killers using knives or chainsaws is often more graphic than action films, there's something much more brutal in nature about melee.
#128 to #127 - foxrock (05/03/2014) [-]
Um, have you ever played KF, by any chance?
It's the greatest zombie co-op of all time.
**** L4D2, that stuff is ***** **** .
User avatar #129 to #128 - CaptainKill (05/03/2014) [-]
Nope. I haven't. Me and co-op never did get along in the online community.

Hey, you up for some TF2?
Ehe.
I wanna blow people up!

User avatar #135 to #134 - CaptainKill (05/04/2014) [-]
Actually I'm ready to go right now so can we form up in a lobby or something?
User avatar #136 to #135 - foxrock (05/04/2014) [-]
I'll just invite you, lol, there are no lobbies unless we're playing mvm, which is co-op.
User avatar #100 to #79 - CaptainKill (05/03/2014) [-]
If I may make a recommendation, do cardio after you workout your muscles. It provides something called "the afterburner effect" and helps burn more calories. Also, doing lifting after cardio is harder than doing cardio after weights.
#101 to #100 - foxrock (05/03/2014) [-]
Really?
I always found it to be the other way around, since it's harder to do a pushup if I'm not pumped.
But hey, you're the expert!
User avatar #102 to #101 - CaptainKill (05/03/2014) [-]
Well that may be very well true for pushups because that's a completely chest/triceps workout, neither of which is worked out by running. Back, core and legs however, different story.
#103 to #102 - foxrock (05/03/2014) [-]
Have I ever told you I used to be a chubby kid, haha?
Back when I lived in America.
Man, I had the chubbiest cheeks in all of Floridian middle school history.
Also moobs and chubby tummy galore.
User avatar #104 to #103 - CaptainKill (05/03/2014) [-]
Oh really? I used to be a bit chubby too when I was in elementary school, but then it stayed off as I grew into early high school luckily.
#105 to #104 - foxrock (05/03/2014) [-]
Yep. I lost weight and got taller when I moved out of America and stopped eating so goddamn much, lol.

Then I came here and I went to the gym for about a year, maybe more, and that's when I developed broad shoulders.
User avatar #106 to #105 - CaptainKill (05/03/2014) [-]
Ahhhh shoulders, a very underrated muscle.

Do you know what kind of weight you can lift for the most popular exercises?
User avatar #108 to #106 - foxrock (05/03/2014) [-]
also brb
#107 to #106 - foxrock (05/03/2014) [-]
I love my shoulders, I think, more than any other part of my body.

Um... no? lol
User avatar #109 to #107 - CaptainKill (05/03/2014) [-]
Everyday is shoulder day.

Awww that's too bad. I always find that interesting just for comparison sake.
User avatar #110 to #109 - foxrock (05/03/2014) [-]
I don't even really know what you meant by your question, sorry lol...
User avatar #111 to #110 - CaptainKill (05/03/2014) [-]
I just mean I like seeing how much other people can lift.
User avatar #112 to #111 - foxrock (05/03/2014) [-]
Ohhh I see what you mean.
Hmm... nah I don't really know. I mean, I don't even remember how much I did back when I used to go to the gym, heh.
#113 to #112 - CaptainKill (05/03/2014) [-]
Oh well...

Be careful when you begin, or else this might happen to you!

I once had to save a guy from being crushed by a barbell because he was benchpressing wayyyy too much.
User avatar #114 to #113 - foxrock (05/03/2014) [-]
Hahaha, that pic made me laugh more than it should.

Funnily enough, that's one way to kill a guy in Hitman: Blood Money haha.
User avatar #115 to #114 - CaptainKill (05/03/2014) [-]
Oh really? That'd be a cool one to add to Manhunt.
User avatar #116 to #115 - foxrock (05/03/2014) [-]
Manhunt?
#117 to #116 - CaptainKill (05/03/2014) [-]
A stealth based survival horror game released by Rockstar in 2004. It got a lot of controversy due to it's graphic executions and it's banned in many countries. The sequel was even gorier and got banned in even more countries.

Manhunt 2 PC Extended Executions with Static Camera This shows some of the executions from Manhunt 2, but they're toned down in this video because they're from the PS2 which was censored considerably compared to the original on the PC, which I happen to have.

Perhaps you can see why people got butthurt over it lol.
User avatar #118 to #117 - foxrock (05/03/2014) [-]
Holy **** , haha... they really seem to have outdone themselves with the gory sound effects lol
#119 to #118 - CaptainKill (05/03/2014) [-]
Yea some of it is pretty ridiculous, but it's all in good fun and it's all to people who had it coming anyway.

I actually want to dress up as one of the gang members in Manhunt for Halloween this year. I made the mask but it still needs a few touchups, and I need the outfit put together.
#120 to #119 - foxrock (05/03/2014) [-]
You're quite the fan of it, huh?

And I'm just here, playing cartoony games like TF2 (although it does get bloody) and Legend of Zelda.

User avatar #81 to #80 - foxrock (05/03/2014) [-]

I only like a couple of their songs.
User avatar #82 to #81 - CaptainKill (05/03/2014) [-]
Me too, but back in the day of Guitar Hero ruling the world, this song was popular with my friends.
#83 to #82 - foxrock (05/03/2014) [-]

Well, I can't know it all, haha!
User avatar #84 to #83 - CaptainKill (05/03/2014) [-]
So how you doing, foxxy?
#85 to #84 - foxrock (05/03/2014) [-]
Very good! Yes!
Though just a bit cold, gah...
It's gotten colder this week and our usual ****** weather has come to haunt us.

You?
User avatar #86 to #85 - CaptainKill (05/03/2014) [-]
Take a warm hug! <HUG>

I'm pretty well. I had work in the morning, and I worked out afterwards. I weighed myself in and I was extremely pleased to see I finally achieved my goal of getting up to 100 kgs in weight! It sounds soooo awesome to have a triple digit weight.
#87 to #86 - foxrock (05/03/2014) [-]
Congrats!
Even though it means practically nothing to me, haha...

You could've told me some exaggerated weight and I wouldn't doubt it for a second.

User avatar #88 to #87 - CaptainKill (05/03/2014) [-]
Well, anything much more than that and I'm either lying to you or I'm on steroids lol.
User avatar #89 to #88 - foxrock (05/03/2014) [-]
Well, yeah lol.
But if you tell someone who doesn't understand anything about computers that you overclocked your gpu or something and it runs at, I dunno, 4.3GHz or something, and be all excited, they'd ask you, "is that a lot?"

Yeah, it's the same here lol.
User avatar #90 to #89 - CaptainKill (05/03/2014) [-]
Oh, ok I get you. I just figured since body weight is something I would assume most people are familiar with it would be a little easier to put into perspective.

Well if it helps, basically I'm a heavyweight in every boxing or wrestling organization there is. The only class above that is super heavyweight but that is reserved for fighters who are insanely tall and massive, usually because they're fat. You at 66kgs would be a featherweight, the third lightest class.
#91 to #90 - foxrock (05/03/2014) [-]
66kg?

I'm 75kg...

I never in my life would never ever EVER have thought I would be called featherweight...
I can't be that skinny, can I...?
User avatar #92 to #91 - CaptainKill (05/03/2014) [-]
Ohhhh ok I mixed you up with somebody else. Sorry. That puts you at welterweight, which is just below middleweights which is...in the middle lol.
#93 to #92 - foxrock (05/03/2014) [-]
Ahhh hahaha now that makes more sense lol.

Being called featherweight made me feel pretty weird, lol.

User avatar #94 to #93 - CaptainKill (05/03/2014) [-]
Yea I thought that was weird too, but with your small bone structure it wouldn't exactly surprise me.

My brother wrestled in high school and he's basically the opposite of me. He weighed 55 kgs and was a flyweight, which is the lightest weight class there is. It's a pretty funny juxtaposition to me. He even called me fat once because of it lol.
#95 to #94 - foxrock (05/03/2014) [-]
Hey, being skinny to the point of looking anorexic ain't exactly a big plus either!

Sup man.
I remember now what electro song has an accordion in it.
Dunno if you remember when you asked me if I knew more songs like it.
But this is one of the more popular examples. I'm much more familiar with the second version though.

oh dear god. i still think cpthit.sugaya's cutie mark is the most difficult because of the program i use to edit ponies i cant just copy paste the cutie mark because i cant resize it at all.

It doesn't have to be just art related, I meant anything. You seem like a really nice person and I always return favors to people who do me one. Unfortunately the only thing I can think of at the moment is some sort of request for one of my S.T.A.L.K.E.R posts (which I doubt you've heard of but pineapplechunks does know).
User avatar #46 to #45 - randomosity ONLINE (12/27/2013) [-]
yeah.... i have no idea what that is.
#47 to #46 - CaptainKill (12/27/2013) [-]
S.T.A.L.K.E.R is a video game series about loners who live in the Exclusion Zone around Chernoybl, which consist of fighting off mutants and bandits. They tend to wear gas masks and other radiation gear. I really love the series and made a bunch of "stalker-fied" pictures to marry the game to funnyjunk, and they were relatively successful given how obscure the game is. If you like creepypasta stuff you might like the series.

Here's one such picture I made.

Well it wasn't like I didn't want to be attacked by hates......
User avatar #36 to #35 - CaptainKill (12/26/2013) [-]
Well, I did post one pony pic eventually and some people left comments about it, all of which got thumbed down to oblivion and my remarks to them were thumbed up quite a bit. I think people wouldn't have cared. Besides, I might need to make some for my journey into this new thread,
User avatar #37 to #36 - pineapplechunkss (12/26/2013) [-]
but giving into account that that was the time I was still cautious and a slight closet brony outside the threads...
#38 to #37 - CaptainKill (12/26/2013) [-]
Oh, well then I understand. I'm glad you seem to be more open about it now. I must admit I never did feel too pressured to remain a closet brony for long, partially because my girlfriend is the one who made me into a brony in the first place, and I have a general visage of someone who is not to be ****** with. On that note...

Might as well lessen formalities a bit. I tend to like actually knowing that the people I talk to look like so here's a pic of me (no gas mask...shock). If you don't want to post one that's ok.
#39 to #38 - pineapplechunkss (12/26/2013) [-]
This is the only pic I have........ don't mind the mean look I was just drunk and pissed

But yeah I get where your going with this especially a guy like me....
Put it like this....... I lift, go to biker bars and gigs, one of then biggest ************ in my town and nick named as "Dog" (because I'm friendly in person but if threatened I fight)

Now think of that and then think of ponys.....
I'm a closet brony IRL for a reason.... I've got a rep to hold
#40 to #39 - CaptainKill (12/26/2013) [-]
Interesting...you remind me of myself.

Like you, I also lift, and if I do say so myself, have gotten pretty damn big, or at least more muscular and fit than anyone else I see around (I'm almost 6' in my boots and weigh around 210 lbs, 10% bodyfat). In addition to that, I wear outfits that add to my intimidation factor, such as that Russian regalia in that picture, or stuff like leather jackets (I want a Harley Davidson Heritage Classic ASAP, but my Mustang GT is holding me over).

Due to my intimidating presence, coupled with my inner loyalty and kindness that I extend to my close friends, people who know me like to call me "The Wolf". It also helps that I ******* love the cold and snow.

Anyway, point is that I know where you're coming from in terms of being afraid to come out of the brony closet due to your reputation being such a strong influence on both yourself and others and you don't want it to change. I had a lot of reservations myself at first before coming out, but ultimately I decided my reputation would overcome anything people might think about me afterwards. So, what I started small with things people probably would never associate with ponies, like t-shirts with relatively obscure references. Eventually I just said " **** it" and bought some shirts with ponies on them, like this one that I wore for St. Patricks Day. Most people never even noticed it, let alone mentioned it, and that's been true since then. Did my friends poke fun at me when they found out? Sure, and they still do every now and then, but none left me or looked down on me for it, and ultimately friends who ditch you for something so meaningless weren't really friends worth keeping after all.

Whatever you choose to do, I wish you the best and I look forward to hitting it up in Ponyville every now and then.

In my experience on FJ, I rarely make frontpage, but when I do, I always have ended up in the number one spot. Since S.T.A.L.K.E.R isn't that popular, I doubt any of them will actually make it.

In any event, I'm not doing this for thumbs. A select group of people such as yourself are enjoying them and I'm having fun making them so I shall continue to do so.
