I've been doing it for about 2 weeks now, I've gained 1 kg so far.

exactly, my guide told me to ingest about 2630 something calories a day, but I'm usually about 4-500 above that. I'm even doing weightgainer ( powder ) for those extra calories.

Obviously you would need to be eating a surplus of calories to put on weight

you would probably want to be eating at least 2600 calories a day
