Why must you entice me with such a description? Source please?

It's called Kerbal Space Program, an indie space travel game that emulates actual space physics and what not very well. It's still in Alpha/Beta, and still in heavy development, but every update is free. The game itself is something 20 or 20 dollars, but it's well worth it. I suggest watching a guide or two, when I say it emulates space travel well, you're controlling EVERYTHING about the rocket!

That's pretty cool. The physics aspect interests me (I'm currently taking AP Physics).

You are reading about him right now, BECAUSE he nailed his scrotum to the pavement. Self-mutilation is probably the best form of protesting; you get a LOT of both national and international media attention and it doesn't hurt anyone but yourself.

well it does sort of make sense. Kind of. Very little but meh.

Ideally, the government is supposed to protect you, even from yourself (this is why committing suicide is illegal). So if he did this, he would have had to get treated at a hospital, which would have been sort of like finally getting some attention from the government.

Idk it's really stupid. This same guy sewed his lips together to protest the arrest of the band members of Pussy Riot

It gets a reaction out of the people, and they are more likely to sympathize with someone who injured them self in protest rather than someone who injured others. Look up self-immolation in Tibet.

I did actually read articles on wikipedia about self-immolation a few months ago because it interested me (Im weird dont ask).

And I understand what you're saying now. I just didnt think of that

The day that he did it was Russia's state-wide "Police Day" so he was protesting the lack of freedom and such

I have NEVER understood self mutilation protests... what the fuck is it going to aid by nailing your scrotum to the pavement!?

What does him being Anon have to do with anything though. Tons of people with accounts post the exact same stuff every time Tumblr gets mentioned. Quite literally dozens upon dozens of people will make those sort of jokes, per content post. I'm not justifying it, the joke long since got old. But this comment just seems dumb to me.
