The new Bugatti Gran Turismo
yeah. the roads are probably shitty where you live
You wouldn't use a smart car to drive across a country transporting a fridge, nor would you use a box truck to get around a inner city area quickly. You're right car's are used for transport, but not all cars/trucks are made for the same purpose. This was made for racing, so driving it on a dirt road in the middle of no where is counter intuitive to its design.
it's a concept car, not production line.
so it's made for one thing: showing off
If you thought for a second that Bugatti makes practical daily drivers then you must be pants on head retarded. Tires for the Veyron cost 20k a set. Ya that's practical.
Bugatti is nothing more than rich people showing off how much money they have
and a marvel of engineering to be fair.
that alone gives it a reason to exist imho.
ehh yes and no. I mean it's incredible the speed the car can achieve, but I dont think tech is on par with that of the P1, 918, or LaFerrari. All they did was stick 4 turbos on a W16 engine to give it a retarded amount of horsepower. The 3 other cars I mentioned also have incredible power but they can put it down efficiently and they can actually turn
watch the top gear episode on the veyron.
they tell you what makes it so amazing.
Volkswagen actually makes the Veyron for 5 million and sells it for 2 million (something like that) . They willingly take a loss selling it.
Bro, I don't give a shit about racecars either, but literally, this car is built specifically for use in sport and nothing else.
cars aren't solely for transportation.
Different cars have different roles. While it's fine to not think supercars are practical, and/or dumb, it's not fine to pretend like all cars should just fill 1 role, it just makes you look obtuse
if it is a family car its for transportation. if its a pickup or a van its for moving goods. if its a SUV its for driving in rough terrain. if its a supercar its for looking amazing and driving fast. its purpose is just that.
