Yeah. Out of my Gen II games, Gold still remains since my Crystal got stolen and my Silver crapped out on me. Gold's internal battery died so I can't save. But i quit playing for about 2 years at one point and picked it up when I was about 10. I played my Silver and Gold games until they crapped out on me and I bought Fire Red and Leaf Green. Well.... I stole Fire Red (and later Ruby) from a former friend turned complete douche bag.
User avatar #317 - Blargosnarf (02/10/2013) [-]
I have absolutely NO idea where you would even get Emerald, or Platinum nowadays, so, unfortunately, I have to use Emulators. DS Emulators work, the touch-screen is emulated using mouse clicks, but the one I use, which is the best on the market, has HEAVY slow down. The only physical copies I own are Yellow and Heart Gold (MY friend got Soul Silver to counter), I'm just borrowing Sapphire.

Sometimes you need to hit rock bottom to see that something is wrong.

Besides Sonic 06 was rushed. I know that it doesn't make it a good game but it is an important part to the whole game.
User avatar #190 - Blargosnarf (02/10/2013) [-]
Sonic Adventure was rushed, still plays beautifully (Y'know, hardware limitations aside, only looking at gameplay) Sonic Adventure 2 was somewhat rushed, this "game" was given time enough to at least make it playable, it's NOT playable, it has a superior platform, was given a somewhat descent engine, sure, it was obviously not ready when it was released, but plenty of games were in the same position with the same time frame and came out with roses and platinum compared to this pile! The only thing I can think of is the developers either never programmed for a video game before, or they were sitting on their hands for a descent portion of their development time. It has no excuses.

Yeah, I know, I'm a Sonic fan myself. It's obvious they are just barely starting to slap themselves and see what is a good way to do it, high speed and quick time events that should keep you alert for anything, but... Shadow the Hedgehog... and then, Sonic Heroes (okay, but not great)... Sonic Genesis, coincided with Sonic '06... it's kind of hard to believe they actually understand they made a mistake in the first place!

I really think chespin is the worst starter to be ever made by pokemon.. Sure he looks smooth and "nice" from high definition but he just looks forced and not natural as if they had another generic normal type pokemon but put some green shit on his head and labeled is grass type

oh shit an opinion
User avatar #309 - Blargosnarf (02/10/2013) [-]
Eh, I personally have to disagree with that, he looks a bit more natural than Oshawott did, sure the green looks a little odd, it looks like a hoodie, doesn't resemble leaves or ears or hair... not sure what it's supposed to be... but I still prefer the design over the odd clown like style they went for the other. Definitely not saying he's my favorite, by far no, but he's not that bad.

Nah, no criticism, just a couple questions though; the heck is Luna dressed as, Mars? And since when was Venus femanazi?
User avatar #21 to #20 - samio (11/04/2014) [-]
Luna is dressed up as the red spy from TF2.

As for Venus, since her name stems from... well Venus from Roman mythology, the goddess of beauty, and the obvious contrast from the planet Venus (A literal hell hole), the chances it would be feminazi are pretty high.

User avatar #28 to #27 - Blargosnarf (11/04/2014) [-]
They haven't abandoned entirely, just hyatus for official updates, they're working hard on it, just not releasing their work. Can still get the Nightly builds, but they tend to be broken and unfinished for obvious reasons. On second thought, though, how about Terraria? I haven't played that in a long while.
