Globalism is literally the best shit.
We give the gross sickly work to foreign countries like China and in exchange we get pretty things at cheap prices by working cushy jobs in offices.
By living in a global economy we have sold our poverty to other countries, which sucks ass for China but is pretty great for the US.

Yes everything that is why unemployment is at 100%, oh wait.
There are still plenty of jobs out there, but these jobs demand education. We have abandoned manual labor and replaced it with mental labor in high end jobs. Fundamentally this is much better as it enables a more educated populace and promotes an increase in quality of life.

For them, not us. The majority are reduced to wage-slaves working in Big Box stores and chain restaurants. What happens when those jobs get phased out? Huh? The push for a $15 minimum wage is a ploy to create mass unemployment. They're trying to speed up the process. Create chaos.
Either we regain our industrial independence, or descend into anarchy within the decade. The Service Economy DOES NOT WORK in the long run, and neither does Globalization.
This has to be fixed, before it's too late.

Wage- Slavery is an innate part of capitalism only entirely socialist systems can escape it, but that being said working in a restaurant is MASSIVELY better than working in a factory. In restaurant the air is well-conditioned and generally accommodating for customers, plus if you are a waiter you get decent human interaction. If you are the kitchen or at a fast food restaurant at least you can take home food that you can't serve like day old buns or whatever. Meanwhile in a factory it is entirely possibly that you will be in consistently uncomfortable and dangerous environment surrounded by loud, hot machines that can rip off limbs or perhaps toxic chemicals that will fuck you up. Even if you have a quaint factory job in good conditions, assembly lines are inherently boring. Repeating the same task for 8 hours a day is the definition of boredom, at least in a restaurant you have human interaction and sometimes mix things up.
Plus factory jobs have absolutely no job security. It is an unskilled job that can easily hire anyone off in the streets. Increased automation will eventually replace all production in the near future as robotics develops meaning you will doubtless lose more and more factory jobs over time. Automation will eventually be the end for capitalism as it is pointless to run a market economy when no one has to work and there is no scarcity thanks to overproduction.
$15 Minumim wage is a huge boon to an economy because it daristically increases quality of life and thus stimulates all economic sectors. By paying our workers more they can buy more things therefore increasing demand and thus requiring greater supply which prompts extra hiring and development.
Finally Globalization is the answer to the words problems. By eventually unifying under one global government we effectively end the wasteful nature of human warfare and we can better extract resources by eliminating tariffs and other national barriers. Not to mention the values of liberty, equality, and fraternity can be universally embraced by all humans in equal measure.
