1: Oops you are right, I totally missed that. My bad.

2: There is no such thing as canon in greek mythology. First the different city states had different myths. Athenian myths were quite a bit different from myths from Crete.
Hesiod's accounts are different than Siculus'. Not to mention that Greek religion existed for over 2000 years without a central authority. Myths from 600bc were quite different from those from 100 bc. Some gods would go from major gods to minor and vice versa depending on strenght of their cult.
And in quite a few versions they do die.

What I'm saying is that Hesiod's account is accepted in modern scholarship as being the closest interpretation of the story that would have been widely acknowledged at the time that survives today.

No but saying that gods don't die isn't true either.
Cronus is either killed or imprisoned in Tartarus, which is pretty much the same thing that being the afterlife. in one version of the myth he is killed by Dionysus, who then himself dies.
So no, comics are not accurate mythology. But then again being killed and coming back is not unheard of in greek mythology either.
So no matter how much you spin it, you were still wrong about saying she isn't a god of war. You were still wrong at saying gods don't die.
And now you are just splitting hairs to avoid admitting you are wrong.

And you didn't even take the time to notice that I'm a totally different person to who you were discussing this with earlier. I never made a mention of Wonder Woman being the god of war, which for all in know in the comics she could be. And what is understood to be the absolute 'canon' of these events in the Greek mythology is what is written in Hesiod's Theogony. And gods still don't die.

Cloud was a super human modified by the mcguffian stream jizz to be 3 times stronger than your average human, before being experimented on with the cells of an alien that was known to make humans unlock their natural limiters.

Also it's fantasy.

There were very specific reasons as to why certain humans like cloud were able to wave around fuckhuge swords like the Buster and why almost none else could.

He's also stated that it doesn't really matter how strong you are
The force of swinging a sword that heavy would knock you off your feet unless you yourself weighed more.
Also that oversized weapons just arent practical because you could, theoretically, just have a normal sized sword and be much faster, and most sword combat actually relies more on speed than strength.

Well in Berserk Guts actually doesn't get the dragon slayer sword until after he is branded, and being branded gives him some sort of magical "boost" if you will.
(on top of the berserker armor, when he really starts swinging that thing around)

Gutz's long sword, the prototype dragon sword if you will, was actually manageable given it was a lot skinnier than the dragon sword.

Still, given the mythical beast Guts and Cloud go against, smalls words would simply not cut it.

When you're fighting fuckhuge monsters as all Shinra first class SOLDIERS were meant to, not regular humans, having a huge moving piece of steel instead of a limp dick toothpick, will do far more for you. Also, considering the supernatural abilities of all SOLDIERS and the fact that he, Zack and Angael could swing it like a very long stick, speed isn't an issue.

And you don't necessarily need greater mass than your sword, especially considering cloud supposedly weighed far more than the average human thanks to his modified muscle density.

It's pretty fucking difficult to go full autismo on fantasy when certain plot elements like magic greatly multiply the strength of certain characters.

In all honesty, I can find Cloud's Buster Sword 10x more realistic than the Dragonslayer, it's feasibly someone could at least carry it effectively, no man on earth could one-hand 400 pounds like Guts, hell, no man could two-hand it.

I can readily believe and accept that Cloud is able to use the Buster Sword to the efficiency that he does quicker than I can believe that Guts can use the Dragonslayer to the efficiency that he does.

I find Guts holding Dragonslayer more believable then Cloud holding the Buster Sword. Guts has those big ass guns of arms and body.

I don't care if he looked like Arnold Schwarzenegger, he wouldn't be able to swing around 400 pounds.

I know it ain't possible. But Cloud is pretty skinny (just speaking physical appearance, never played the game before). Just saying, if I were to see both of them, and and make a judgement who would be able to pick up said swords, then I would put my money on Guts.

I can see where your coming from, and when it comes to the Buster Sword, I could see Guts wielding it, but like Skallagrim's video states, you'd have to be fucking massive to wield just the Buster Sword, imagine how big Guts would have to be to be able to wield Dragonslayer.

Yeah, it's a monster of a sword. Although still bad ass.

It's bad-ass, sure, but I like a bit of realism to my swords, personally, and I can better accept the Buster Sword.
