He is a human being that deserves the right to -eat- regardless of a human being. No one should risk homelessness for their opinions. Trying to get him fired is an SJW act, plain and simple.

Not at all, companies have the right to fire people for whatever reason they see fit if they
feel that employees are misrepresenting the company. This is not infringing on free speech,
this is a matter of a work contract, and the victim's infringement of that.
And even if it WAS a matter of free speech, where does free speech end and hate speech begin?
Surely you're not saying that hate speech should be justified, as all hate crimes
must first begin as a simple idea.

I'm not agreeing with what hes saying or doing. I think that telling the manager to fire him instead of taking up the issue with him your self is a pretty shitty move. You can't beg for someone to be fired because they said something you don't agree with, it's just immature

What if he had said, " Wal-Mart sucks hairy cock." Wouldn't Wal-Mart then be completely justified in firing him for an opinion?
The employer will always have the right to choose which employees fit the job best, in this case the person who fits the job best just so happens to be different from the one writing hate speech online wearing company clothing.

Wal-mart has the right to fire anyone for any reason they see fit. What I'm saying is that it's a shitty move telling someone's boss they need to be fired. I couldn't care less what they actually say. You can tell them that he said something problematic of course, but if you just outright say "fire this guy" then it's a shitty move, if that's what the person did anyway.

I agree with your moral assertion but the reality defiles it. Yes in a perfect world companies can pick the "best" employees like a simulation videogame, and those with low charisma get fired for those with higher charisma. Sadly this is not a videogame and the real world makes that power have very real consequences. When you apply power to a human being, a person of sentience, your stop being able to play things in raw potential. I wish you were entirely right, but reality still stabs us all in the back.
To answer your first assertion...no, they wouldn't be justified. My father hated the company he worked for and spoke ill of it quite often, for good reason as they treated him like garbage and treated their customers quite badly. Is that a justification for him being fired?(he was, though mostly because his boss hated him personally, not for his opinion) No, it isn't.
I say this not in anger, but softspoken and regretful what your saying can't be true, but it isn't.

Really...wanna play this game? What about families that can't afford to lose their jobs? Some people -can't- quite, some people are held hostage by their life situation, so care tot ell those people "go work somewhere else". I may do it in -some- placed where employees are abused, but this not such a situation.
How about this, What if the person likes their job, hates their employer, but likes thier job? They quit or get fired finding that job becomes several times mroe difficult, do we punish them to?
But that's not all! Let's take the poor victim in this situation. This guy is a horrible asshole who needs to be slapped in the face, but if companies are allowed to fire him for being an asshole and having really stupid political views, then how does he keep a job? If he ever gets one again, he can then be fired within potentially minutes the moment someone reports him -again-. This is why political view is protected, to stop this mindless blacklisting cycle. So no, I will continue to call bullshit and be angry and show companies they can't just do anything they want, even if I have to do it alone.

>where does free speech end and hate speech begin?
This is the reason why free speech is actually free in America. Because you can't objectively measure how offensive something is.
Also because 'free' doesn't mean 'as long as we find it acceptable'.
You can counter it with your own speech, you can protest it, but you cannot demand that the government arrest someone for stating an opinion and call yourself an advocate of liberty.

And he didn't stop people from being gay, wal-mart stopped him from feeding himself. The victim is not your justification.
