If it was a long range fight or the tiger had support yes. However (specifically) in the case of a close range fight the Pz.Kpfw IV Ausf. H can use it's mobility to its advantage to get around the firing line of the gun. The turret and the tank turn slow as fuck so a high speed tank could get around behind it and fire its gun knocking out the tanks engine and allowing it to circle the tiger and take out the crew without too much danger.

Problem with that is that a stock Pz.Kpfw IV Ausf A, or D might be fast enough to do it, but once you put the long 7.5cm gun on it, it becomes very front-heavy. That, as well as the Schurzen armor protecting the flanks, and the tank becomes significantly heavier. The top speed of the Panzer IV was only about 26mi/h. That's not very fast, all things considered.
With the Tiger I traversing both its hull and turret to track the moving tank, not only would it be more than capable of maintaining sight on the Panzer IV, but it would also be able to keep its frontal armor more or less towards the target, and even with the Panzer IV's long 7.5cm/L43, it'd have a hard time penetrating a Tiger I's armor, except at a flat 90 degrees.

I didn't think of the armor added mass, yeah that would cause some issues. I was thinking of the time I circled a tiger in the Pz.Kpfw IV Ausf A or whatever variant has the Long barrel 75mm in warthunder but not the extra armor (yeah I had to use arcade everyone was playing realistic battle germans that night).

The Pz.Kpfw Ausf. A uses a 5cm gun, the Ausf. D uses a short 7.5cm, and the KwK 40/L43 (Long 7.5cm) wasn't introduced until the Ausf. F2. The Ausf. F2 was later renamed Pz.Kpfw Ausf. G (which is strange, because the Ausf. G predates the Ausf. H)
The L43 was pushing the limits for the Pz.Kfpw IV chassis. In a forward-facing position, due to how far the gun extended forward, the frontal suspension ended up being in a constantly compressed state. This problem was only exacerbated in the Ausf. H, with the addition of several hundred pounds of spaced armor.

you're right, I just tried it in warthunder with a friend in the realistic battle mode (yes maybe I will find a way to marry the game) and I got blown up. I forgot that arcade physics are bullshit and will never work. I still think that an experienced crew that knows wtf they're doing (jam the turret ring or take out a track) could pull it off given the right circumstances (any sort of ambush really) , but in every other case the only option is to pray that the tiger doesn't see you till it gets bombed or rocketed.

What it comes down to is: If you're in front of a Tiger I, and it knows you're there, you're probably going to have a really bad time. Something about an 8.8cm HVAP or HEAT shell ripping through the mushy, delicate innards of a tank usually results in the death of the crew, and the destruction of the vehicle.

The 5cm gun based off of the Pak 38 was capable of penetrating about 45-50mm of armor. The sides and rear of the Tiger I had between 60 and 80mm of armor. Short answer; no. The low-velocity short 7.5cm was only capable of penetrating about 43mm of armor under ideal circumstances, so, yet again, no. The L43 (the Long 7.5cm) could penetrate up to nearly 110mm of armor within 100m of the target. That falls off to about 95mm at 500m. This means that the only way that a Pz.Kpfw IV could realistically penetrate a Tiger I would be from the sides, or rear, at close range, with a shot at a flat face.

The main thing is; the Panzer IV wasn't originally designed to engage armored targets. It was designed as an infantry support vehicle, and the job of armored combat at the start of WWII was left to the smaller and lighter Panzer III. The Soviets forced the Germans to reconsider that with the T-34, due to, at the time, its incredibly thick armor, and powerful armament.
The Panzer IV and the Tiger I aren't even in the same category of tanks, so expecting a fair fight to be anything but one-sided is ridiculous. I mean, the Tiger I weighs more than twice what a Panzer IV does. It also had one of the most feared and respected guns in WWII, the 8.8cm KwK 36/L56. (Fun Fact, the L/"X" indicates the barrel length. The barrel is "X" times as long as the projectile's diameter, so in this case, the barrel is 56 times longer than 88mm, meaning the barrel is 4.9m, or about 16ft long, which is almost as long as the tank itself, at 20ft.)
