The closest thing I've had to a school shooting was a guy that went to a bar in a town about 30 miles north and he started shooting at people eating there, apparently aiming for young children mostly, 6 people died.

Ya know what happened?

People banded together, hunted that ****** down (we live in a very rural hunting area). He ended up being chased into the woods, got shot in the leg by a guy who was waiting in a tree stand, and got dragged to the nearest police station. Guns aren't the problem, criminals are the problem. Good gun toting citizenry has many of its own uses, including general defense of our neighbors. If we hear of a string of robberies out here, you can be sure some old guy with a 12 gauge in his truck is patrolling a few blocks around his house at night.

too easy to get...and not enough laws regarding on how they should be handled...the issue now is if guns were made illegal...only criminals would have them..too many guns in our country to fix it... I believe in the rights to own a gun... but you should be found mentally sane/ competent and take safety classes... just a ramble..

I think the same way. Background checks should be better enforced and thorough mostly.
