There's a secret clip for The Amazing Spiderman 2 that teases Mysterio for one of the upcoming movies.
The clip is only available by using the 'Shazam' app during one of the songs in the end credits.

But that's because the movies are made for a general audience and not aimed at it's current fans. If a sinister 6 Spiderman movie was made for those who already had a basic knowledge of spiderman villains origins, then the movie can just be an epic story of the villains current goals. When aimed at a general audience, the movie has to explain what each villain is after so that all people can understand the story.

the number vs quality trope(cant recall the real name) is actually a thing in comic books too.

just take juggernaut in example.if he is fighting againts all of x men then he will destroy the entire city before x men even have a chance to attack him.

but then take just one dude like lets say wolverine or scott and suddenly its an even fight ending in maybe one building getting smashed.

thor is even bigger example since he normally goes around fighting beings of galactic level destruction and could just about destroy every earth villain they meet with one hit but yet in avengers he struggles agaitns beings much weaker than him(granted he does state all the time that he holds back great deal inorder to not make earth too reliant on him but still)

I found the way out. Which is to say I've read so many articles that the chances of stumbling over new ones are too slim to be entertaining.

but.... the new spiderman movie didn't do that

electrode had no reason to become a villian or any reason to go after spiderman, he just did, because EVIL

He totally did. He's already introduced as mentally unstable, desperate for attention and always looking up to spiderman. He wakes up after an accident with powers he doesn't understand, people are suddenly focusing on him, even spiderman shows up. His hero is here, even if he didn't recognize him at first, its still spiderman, and spiderman promises that nobody is going to shoot him. Then what happens? A sniper shoots him. Imagine that, your hero, the one person that you can look up to in a world where everyone uses you spits on your trust and tries to kill you.

In his eyes he had every reason to be mad at spiderman. Granted, it's not spiderman's fault, but its not just because he got superpowers that he became evil.

Also, it's just like the "Chronicle" storyline, when oppressed people have this rage inside that cannot come out, they keep it deep down until they have superpowers and suddenly they start to kill everyone because they can, not because they want.

as Electro said himself "I feel this...anger inside of me"

What I'm getting from this is that he would have eventually either gotten super powers or shot up a school.

I had to explain this to my idiot IRL friends after seeing it

also had to explain that Harry was dying and that Spiderman's blood could potentially save him but he refused so Harry kind of snapped. He then took the serum which altered his genetic structure which in doing so caused him to go completely insane. With his mind already focused on wanting spiderman's blood he set out to kill him

then Rhino wanted revenge for what happened at the start of the movie and probably got paid a ********* of money along with getting the bad-ass robot suit to kill spiderman

ASM2 was actually really well thought out to be honest

I'm intrigued to see what will happen in 3

I heard Venom may be in it which makes me nervous as they need to be very careful with him and not do the BS of Eddie being in control like they did in Sam Raimi's spiderman 3
