Yeah, I do too. According to the little guy in ym head, it's the beginning of schizophrenia.

I constantly talk to myself about random thoughts as if there's a two way conversation that I am both parts of. Sometimes I imagine I'm giving a press conference or having a debate or doing an autobiographical monologue. Sometimes I voice thoughts as a fictional character or using an accent. People notice. I tell them that someone is crazy if they can talk to themselves without listening. Am I crazy?

I often start doing this then realize, and think "Why the **** do I need to explain my thoughts to myself? I know what I mean" Yet I keep doing it for some reason.

Yes. Just so in case the souls of dead people who listen to my thoughts won't misunderstand me and think of me as a pervert.

Actually the little guy in my head tries to explain his thoughts to me.

Lying little **** won't shut up. "Oh, you should ****** this person. People would thank you!" Or, "Wouldn't it be fun to stick a fork in that electrical socket?"

Oh thank God other people do this. I thought I was kind of crazy. This is why I love you guys, always helping me realize I'm not as weird as I think. or at least that there are others just as weird.

Everyone is a little bit crazy. Some are more crazy than others.
If you explain something to yourself, it can also help make it easier.
More in-depth knowledge of the subject at hand, and all that.
