I tend to split them up by temperaments. Yet they are all still cunts.

Yeah, I do too. According to the little guy in ym head, it's the beginning of schizophrenia.

I constantly talk to myself about random thoughts as if there's a two way conversation that I am both parts of. Sometimes I imagine I'm giving a press conference or having a debate or doing an autobiographical monologue. Sometimes I voice thoughts as a fictional character or using an accent. People notice. I tell them that someone is crazy if they can talk to themselves without listening. Am I crazy?

No, it sounds like benign separate personalities that all relegate to the same entity (you), not complete alter egos or hallucinations of imaginary friends. I wouldn't discourage yourself from talking to yourself like this. It might prove useful in honing your communication skills, and making you more ready for certain social situations that might stress you out or make you nervous.
User avatar #84 to #26 - enigmaticexodus (01/23/2014) [-]
Well i do the exact same **** every day, but I wouldn't consider myself clinically insane. When you are insane you can't function properly; you are a human lost in a world of his own thought with his own specific delusions. If you want to think about it in a nonbiased way, everyone is crazy and those who are "healthy" are people with popular delusions and thoughts about how the world works.
User avatar #28 to #26 - stilch (01/23/2014) [-]
The very definition of insanity is trying something twice and expecting different results. You, my friend, are not trying, you are doing. You are debating things with yourself to give yourself a better view point than most. So no, you are not crazy, you're a bloody hero.
#35 to #28 - mattwithnonumbers ONLINE (01/23/2014) [-]
I hate to break it to you my good sir but farcry 3's definition of insanity is very different than the actual one

That's Albert ******* Einstein. Vaas from FC3 is quoting him, but with his own words.
#40 to #35 - innocentbabies (01/23/2014) [-]
Actually, I think that's an Albert E. quote. Still not true, though.
User avatar #101 to #40 - threeeighteen ONLINE (01/23/2014) [-]
Einstein quotes aren't infallible, that tends to be most people's assumptions. That goes for everyone else too.
#214 to #101 - innocentbabies (01/23/2014) [-]
Of course not, and simply because something's repeated all the time doesn't make it true either. One of my favorite quotes is MacArthur's "Whoever said the pen is mightier than the sword, has obviously never encountered automatic weapons." I don't like it because it's true (whether it is or not is debatable), I like it because it questions something people just tend to repeat without thinking.

What I learned from the internet:
Whatever/however you do /thing about something, you're NOT the only one.
We humans think we're all unique, this couldn't be further from the truth.
It's baked into our genes.

I know, but I have, like, six voices in my head that I know of. They don't have unique voices, but they speak in different tones. Say, one voice sounds relaxed and calm, but one sounds high strung and twitchy. But they all sound like me, more or less. Then they argue like a council of peers trying to make a rational decision where I have final say. So I'll be speaking on my own, but I won't voice my inner voices. This leads to people thinking that I'm just weird.

TL;DR- I have several voices that argue with each other, but it can sometimes leave me feeling isolated and alone.

Just a small, humble image for those who were kind enough to read.

Lying little **** won't shut up. "Oh, you should murder this person. People would thank you!" Or, "Wouldn't it be fun to stick a fork in that electrical socket?"

Everyone is a little bit crazy. Some are more crazy than others.
If you explain something to yourself, it can also help make it easier.
More in-depth knowledge of the subject at hand, and all that.
