this post pissed me off a lot. Like fighting for freedom is less brave than cutting yourself... Right, I'm army airboure and this seriously pissed me off. Like, this dosent even compare. Daddy issues < brothers and sisters in arms getting blown to bits.

**** it, if she's so much braver than our troops, let's send her to war. No reason for those good young men to get shot when she is clearly our country's bravest

She'll definitely get a bigger blade than that tiny little razor

Especially since she clearly doesn't care if she dies

"Airborne" you're just a leg once you hit the ground.
User avatar #83 to #82 - kawaiidesudesuu (12/01/2013) [-]
Its about how you get on the ground. If we want to get technical I'm "Fall out of a plain and hope your 'shute was packed right" And airborne also has harder PT, but regardless.

Up at fort harrison, manning a recruitment desk, as I am "Unfit for combat", thinking of hanging up the uniform while I still have some dignity left.
User avatar #14 to #11 - nospyonme (12/01/2013) [-]
You should self refereed. I self refereed and it's kinda like signing up for ASAP. You get to be as crazy as you can afterwards, like how the ASAP guys can show up drunk every once in a while. I once lit a private on fire because his uniform was ****** up his first day. Held him down and set his pants on fire.
User avatar #16 to #14 - nospyonme (12/01/2013) [-]
Self referred to mental health
User avatar #15 to #14 - kawaiidesudesuu (12/01/2013) [-]
I joined up to be a soldier, not a desk jockey is the thing, and If I cant function in combat I have no business in an AO
User avatar #20 to #15 - nospyonme (12/01/2013) [-]
So you cant function in combat, but you can pass on what you know.

Obviously I don't know your story. If you can get counseling from mental health, work your **** out, and then teach what you learned there to the next generation of soldiers.
User avatar #21 to #20 - kawaiidesudesuu (12/01/2013) [-]
Yep, but I'm at a point the army wasent like it used to be for me. Despite all the cool **** , its just not for me anymore.
User avatar #23 to #21 - nospyonme (12/01/2013) [-]
Yeah, I decided that too after 3 years, and decided to just ride out the last year and ETS. Then I got stop-loss for another year or so, and went insane, threatened to kill my a NCO who thought she was my boss, threatened to **** on people's desks, had a mental breakdown in front of some random cpt, refused to wear cloths when off duty, but I made it to mental health before they could hit me with disciplinary action. It turns out that I was so crazy my entire CoC got disciplinary action for not command referring me.
They gave me a 5 day pass to Qatar... Would do again.
User avatar #26 to #23 - kawaiidesudesuu (12/01/2013) [-]
Thats some funny **** , well them sending you're ass to qatar. that place rocked.
#30 to #26 - nospyonme (12/01/2013) [-]
HAHA, yeah! That place rocked. It took me 4 days to get there my bags made it there in 2 so I spent 2 days in Kuwait with no change of cloths... Buehring is also awesome Then my day zero did not count, and on my last day my flight out got delayed by 36 hours, spent another full day at that sweet Air Force PX... man. The one nice place the army sent me, and it was because I was crazy.
User avatar #31 to #30 - kawaiidesudesuu (12/01/2013) [-]
Gotta love taxpayers.
User avatar #32 to #31 - nospyonme (12/01/2013) [-]
Yeah, especially because that airbase is rented from the Kingdom of Qatar.

They had a Chili's, it took me 2 days to find it because it was next to the pool. The pool hidden between the AF barracks.

Battle, get to mental health. That sounds like some serious PTSD, you don't have to get on meds if you don't want to, but you should really go in for some therapy. From experience, stuff like that does not get better on its own.
User avatar #27 to #24 - kawaiidesudesuu (12/01/2013) [-]
Nah, its just getting worse, I've seen a theripist, but he was a ******** , sofar I've been talking to the missus and she has been a better help.

Nice.

I had a hot deployment hot cpt for my therapist. It was nice to just talk to somebody, and half the time I thought she was making passes at me.

You can ask for a different therapist, you may even be able to get a referral, because the first one I talked to looked like Morgan Freeman but just tried to shove meds at me.

Also wish those razor blades were somehow designed as to ensure lethal lacerations if not used for the intended purpose.Chances are you either mean what you are doing or you are an attention whoring piece of **** that doesn't even know the meaning of depression.

As an active duty soldier, all I can say is that I'm sorry she doesn't appreciate what we do. I have friends over seas who gave up everything to defend her right to an opinion, whether that be leaving family, loved ones, or giving up their life. It takes a special person to bring a razor to their wrist to deal with their problems, but it takes a much more special person to take a bullet flying past their head all for the sake of protecting everything they love and believe in. I only pray she changes her mind.

Those people that really cut themselves almost never think that way. If they did, they wouldn't cut themselves. People that cut do so out of lack of self-esteem, not the other way around. If only you idiots actually thought about it for a second you'd realize that.
