Well to be fair, you did go looking for a thread and needle in the kitchen...

And you're complaining? Just eat the cookies put the lid on and needles and thread will magically appear.

It's photoshop, I can tell because those are cookies and not needles and strings.

Sweet heavens! My mom actually has exactly this box at home, filled with marbles and **** . Whenever I played with the marbles as a little man, I used to wonder how the cookies once contained in this box might have tasted. Now at least I get to see them. I have partly fulfilled a life-long dream that I already forgot about.

My grandma had BOXES of those things, I remember spending a very soul crushing week inspecting them all.

I have always accepted this as a part of life, but didn't realize this many other families did this as well.

I'm sorry that you've never had the opportunity to have one of those cookies invade your mouth.

It's even worse if you're Hispanic. My grandma reuses all kinds of different containers. I've found dinner in a sour cream container...

My mum would have us use empty noodle cups as our drinking glass during long vacations. Can't complain. Better than buying legit plastic cups or bringing glassware. And she'd roast peanuts and fill old mayo jars with them.

I once stored my toys in an old box.. forgot what it was called, but it was meant for all sorts of biscuits and cookies, at least a foot tall. It was red, from what I recall
