Sorry to piss on anyone's bonfire, but Charles was the first half blood prince, meaning William was the quarter blood prince, so the royal baby is only the 1/8th blood prince...

The joke is as old as their marriage, or even before that. It wasn't 'thought of' earlier today.

Princess Diana wasn't a royal either. So prince William is a Half Blood Prince.
User avatar #13 to #11 - rabaneristo (07/23/2013) [-]
So... is the royal baby a quarter-blood prince?
User avatar #41 to #13 - anaraledien (07/24/2013) [-]
Exactly.

Well considering Dianna wasn't royal William's the half blood prince the baby's only a quarter.

No, but Diana was of noble descent (she was related to half the house of lords) whereas Kate was only filthy rich to start with and had no nobility in her bloodline.
User avatar #33 to #6 - alhemicar (07/23/2013) [-]
Still nobility =/= royalty

But making someone "noble" just because he came out of a specific woman is ******** .

Almost every white person on this planet has royalty in their bloody
User avatar #16 - Loppytaffy (07/23/2013) [-]
I think you need to go back a few generations. The time of "royals marrying royals" passed many years ago.

False. Just another werewolf.

William was already half-blood, considering his mother was not royalty either. His father was also half-blood, I believe, as well. So, by these standards, this baby is only 1/8 royalty.
User avatar #38 to #36 - newsugarbriches (07/23/2013) [-]
Diana was a noble though, Lady Diana Spencer was the Daughter of the Earl of Spencer. The queen's own mother was also the daughter of an Earl. And Earls are right down the line from a Duke, So Diana did have a title and she came from a very wealthy aristocratic family
User avatar #35 - randomserb (07/23/2013) [-]
No, it doesn't. Patrilineal marriages.

**superpedodonkey rolled a random image posted in comment #152994 at Shin Anime Social Board ** ermmm isn't william a half blood prince because his mum diana wasn't royalty, so that makes the baby a quarter blood prince..i think

That officially makes it so I don't give a **** (and honestly never will unless he actually does somethingimportant)
