Growing up I never understood how Anakin could betray the Jedi Order until my finance had a miscarriage.

Apparently this is more common than most people believe. Don't worry about it. I'm sure you're both young enough to try again.

"I had a dream that my wife was going to die, better slaughter thousands of my allies including a bunch of children to save her."

No, that still doesn't make sense.

I don't think you watched the movies... It's pretty clear why.

Its more about doing anything to stop that from happening.

I'm having the hardest laughing fit.
I know that it's his tongue but if you stare long enough it looks like a fat upperlip. And he's doing a fruity little grin like that guy from family guy with the alien and jaws skit.
"Oh Nooooooo"

This just reminds me of how unloved my childhood was, when my dad left when i was 6 my mum stopped hugging me, giving me a kiss goodnight, the things that a mum would do for a 6 year old. Since that day I never go anything, it's as if she stopped loving me, yet still kept loving my brother and sister exactly the same. It could be why I used to blame myself for my dad leaving, but i know it wasn't. It was just sadder that I was supposed to be meeting up with someone and I told him all of this before and asked if we could just hug for a while so I can know how it feels after so long, he agreed but then decided to call it off and it made me sad. Hopefully I can find someone some day and just hug with them for ages

Well my dad left because he was gay which i only found out about last year. my mum said she was going to try and keep it from me for as long as possible. and the closest person i came to telling irl was the guy i was meeting up with who i knew from the internet

oh, well i think somewhere in what has happened to me, my emotions have become slightly weird. i'm usually only ever super pissed off depressed and angry or really happy and excited. and anything that should be really sad and can make a grown man cry, i laugh at

yeah, my mood constantly changes between the two, there's no middle, or others and it only ever seems to be right at the far end of it.

I know this'll come off as random, but feel free to PM me if you ever need to talk. I won't have much in the way of advice, but I can at least listen to you. I like to hear people talk about their problems and I like to try and help them.

I've kinda got used to it and accepted it since i was 6. it comes naturally to be sad/dissapointed

England. why no homo?

But you're supposed to be disappointed in life much later than when you're 6...

I live in New York City. I'm sending a virtual hug your way. No homo because my boyfriend would get jealous.

Just know that I would love to meet you because you sound like a cool friend and probably a great lover.

If I were a super villain, I'd hack into a superpower's computer system and launch as many missiles to as many different countries as possible and start World War 3. I wouldn't destroy the world, they'd do that for me!

Just send like three nukes on major population centers and nuclear winter will make sure the survivors of the war die as well.

Or better yet we could just use our villain powers to make a city on Pluto with our villain friends (of course we'd have to create houses and suits with adjustable temperatures so we could actually live there, but we got mad scientists so that would be easy), we could invite a few other people there too who we think are okay and boom! Awesome planet filled with people we like, where we take swaggots, yolo cunts, femnazi's, and people who think Pluto isn't a real planet and burn them at the stake.
#98 to #83 - anon (06/15/2013) [-]

Inb4 to long of a post to read.

In all of the new Super Hero films, I tend to find most of the villains very easy to agree with. I'm not crazy nor do I think some of their motives are correct, but **** , they have a bounds of ideas. Look at X-Men, I think Magneto has a boundle of ideals and I can undersatdn and relate to them in some ways, even if he is not 'good', he has reasons he can argue for.

Go figure...

I know that feel. It's like that with Assassin's Creed III (yeah, I enjoyed it, wanna fight about it?) , when Connor's dad tells you what the Templars are doing, and during his speech I thought " **** ... he actually has a valid point".

#94 to #31 - zacsuntibidea (06/15/2013) [-]
In general, yeah, the people who 'realize' life sucks tend to suck. And then you meet that one guy who's more pessimistic than any of them and goes out of his way to make everybody's day better because life sucks enough that helping it suck isn't a challenge.
#97 to #31 - swagbot (06/15/2013) [-]
If by 'suck' you mean 'are evil/mean-spirited people', then i disagree with you.

Most people are just weak - they realize that the world is a terrible place, but ignore and fail to take advantage of their own power to do anything about it. THAT is why the world's so ********* nowadays.
#22 - alucord (06/14/2013) [-]
I have never been able to connect with the heros as well as the the villains or anti-heros.

The hero's never seemed to solve the problem, while the other guys seemed capable of getting **** done

#93 to #66 - zacsuntibidea (06/15/2013) [-]
Moral: It's only funny until you realize how true it is.

Of course, it's at that point that you get to decide how to fit it into your schemes in order to make them more likely to succeed. Then everything's happy again.

HA! You fool! Stop being so defeatist (note - i didn't say pessimistic. Pessimism is okay - Defeatism is NOT!)

Stop and take a look around.

Has a nuclear holocaust happened, like everyone said it would? Has a rogue nation destroyed the world utterly through warfare? NO! WE'RE STILL HERE! Doesn't that count for anything in you mind... like, perhaps, the possibility that people are just not so bad as our popular culture makes them out to be?

If you encounter suffering in your life, it can come from two sources:
1. A natural challenge (disease, acts of nature, etc.)
2. Negative actions of other people effected upon you.

In the case of the former - study nature and find ways to defend against natural cataclysms. Human are quite good at this.
In the case of the latter - 1. Consider ways so that you and the person can both mutually be out of conflict, and peaceably approach the person. 2. If the person makes no effort to equitably solve the conflict, and no recourse via cultural pressure can be sought from those close around you, destroy him.

Easy. Done. The fact that NOBODY thinks that clearly about point #2 is the reason we have so much suffering in the world.
