i still dont understand because they wanna destroy the place that they live on. its like they get to the destroy the world part and the "evil genius" just walks away from the drawing board and tries the plan

It's because they legitimately believe everyone everywhere deserves to die, it's like super suicide.

Yup that's how it goes. I was the loser of the school. The Loch Ness monster wouldn't even ask me for tree fitty. All i could think of every day is I wish all these mother bastards would die. Then I realized it was kind of ****** up to think. But you know how **** goes.

Or better yet we could just use our villain powers to make a city on Pluto with our villain friends (of course we'd have to create houses and suits with adjustable temperatures so we could actually live there, but we got mad scientists so that would be easy), we could invite a few other people there too who we think are okay and boom! Awesome planet filled with people we like, where we take swaggots, yolo ***** , femnazi's, and people who think Pluto isn't a real planet and burn them at the stake.
#98 to #83 - anonymous (06/15/2013) [-]
MFW I don't think Pluto is a planet
Wat I gonna do now?

Inb4 to long of a post to read.

In all of the new Super Hero films, I tend to find most of the villains very easy to agree with. I'm not crazy nor do I think some of their motives are correct, but **** , they have a bounds of ideas. Look at X-Men, I think Magneto has a boundle of ideals and I can undersatdn and relate to them in some ways, even if he is not 'good', he has reasons he can argue for.

Go figure...

I know that feel. It's like that with Assassin's Creed III (yeah, I enjoyed it, wanna fight about it?) , when Connor's dad tells you what the Templars are doing, and during his speech I thought " **** ... he actually has a valid point".

Not to mention, there are probably plenty of other planets to conquer. This is why I love villains in the sci-fi genre: they have much higher ambitions thanks to advanced technology. Nothing short of the universe will suffice!

See, Fj? There's the optimism for all you Debby Downers, it's not that villains hate Earth it's that their ambitions are much greater than Earth!

They don't need to control the world, they already do.

jesus **** , man. everyone is taking this as a sad post. I thought of it off hand and thought it was funny. FJ is depressing as **** .

Moral: It's only funny until you realize how true it is.

Of course, it's at that point that you get to decide how to fit it into your schemes in order to make them more likely to succeed. Then everything's happy again.

>how much everyone sucks.
if everyone thinks that of each other how do you exactly want there to be another way?
this souds corny but "if you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and make a change"
#62 to #58 - gracefuldamned ONLINE (06/14/2013) [-]
people on this site take **** too seriously

maybe you are kidding but there a lot of people out there who are confined to this idea.
#67 to #64 - gracefuldamned ONLINE (06/14/2013) [-]
Thats their problem. There are a lot more ******** than nice people, the world is a cruel and unforgiving place. Yeah, it ******* sucks. Thats life. You can either deal with it or drown in it.
#96 to #67 - swagbot (06/15/2013) [-]
HA! You fool! Stop being so defeatist (note - i didn't say pessimistic. Pessimism is okay - Defeatism is NOT!)

Stop and take a look around.

Has a nuclear holocaust happened, like everyone said it would? Has a rogue nation destroyed the world utterly through warfare? NO! WE'RE STILL HERE! Doesn't that count for anything in you mind... like, perhaps, the possibility that people are just not so bad as our popular culture makes them out to be?

If you encounter suffering in your life, it can come from two sources:
1. A natural challenge (disease, acts of nature, etc.)
2. Negative actions of other people effected upon you.

In the case of the former - study nature and find ways to defend against natural cataclysms. Human are quite good at this.
In the case of the latter - 1. Consider ways so that you and the person can both mutually be out of conflict, and peaceably approach the person. 2. If the person makes no effort to equitably solve the conflict, and no recourse via cultural pressure can be sought from those close around you, destroy him.

Easy. Done. The fact that NOBODY thinks that clearly about point #2 is the reason we have so much suffering in the world.

the world is only as cold and hard as you let it to be i learned.
maybe this is just me beeing delusional but surround yourself by people who are awesome and block out those who are ***** n you will be bound to catch yourself smiling for no reason from time to time
#52 - teenytinyspider (06/14/2013) [-]
That reminds me of actually saying that about a villian,"Let him take over the world! He can't screw it up anymore than it already has! Hell, he may even make things BETTER!"

I just finished watching Justice League: Doom and I have to say that I found it really funny that Vandal Savage wanted to destroy the world in the name of nostalgia.

....or you can grow the **** up and not use other people as an excuse to be a dick
#42 - derein (06/14/2013) [-]
Yes, people are terrible. However, i make it imperative to sympathize with everyone I deem worthy of sympathy (which is practically anyone who suffers something real).

Cause the least and relieve the most pain in the world. Do not base it on pleasure, but on the lessening of pain.
