D&D on FJ...Long but please read
Alright So Listen up people...I have an Idea...now I don't know how well it would work but I'm throwing it out there...we could try and play a game of D&D right here on FJ...Now I realize that there are a **** ton of people on FJ so we can't all play under one game...but I mean if enough people stepped up to be DM's there could be a few games running at once so there's not a bunch of people playing one game...I don't think that everyone will want to play anyway so I figure 10 player Including DM should work, right? The DM of the game would basically write up/begin a campaign (So you Know, if you guys want use one out of the books and **** or be creative and make your own campaign), then he/she would post up the first map that we begin at as content so players have some sense of the surroundings and such like in real life, The first 10 people to comment get to play that game and this would go on in many different post by whoever feels like being a DM, then the players create their characters and such using the FJ roll system and would also use the FJ roll system as in game dice it might take a bit of agreeing upon how the dice work and such but I know it can be done, then in the comment section is where the DM and Players would Communicate and you know ( and I guess this one is a bit more based on trust and respect for the game) people who aren't in the game just don't comment any more after it has started...just kinda leave it alone and let the players do their thing. Once again it's just an Idea I had, seeing as though there are some people that enjoy D&D on FJ and **** you know? There would even be a channel called: D&D Games or we could even use dungeontime if you guys wanted (for people who want to DM and **** to post their maps and ****). I don't know, just throwing the idea out there for anyone who would be interested in testing the first game with me, I won't be DM though because I'd rather be a player, and we could even work out the kinks in the system and figure it out so that's it easy to play and then post solutions and stuff to thing like how the dice rolling will work and such. Even if you don't think it will work tell me why and how do you think it can be improved as an idea? I mean this is after all just the rough draft. I litterally am going from my head to the keyboard.
