Alright, bear with me on this one. When I was younger, I was a weird kid, but it is O.K. my best friend was weird like me. What we would do is go to a place we called "Imagination world". We knew it was not real, but we still loved it. In there we mainly thought of adventures, most involved video games (mainly Nintendo) and we would actually move around and participate. I thought of something one day. Because I loved amusement parks, I made up an amusement park that had every Nintendo video game in it. I called it Splash Mountain (Not knowing about the Disney splash mountain). There, you could Race in F-zero, you could participate in link's adventures, you could fight like Samus, you could even run in Mario levels with multiple people. Now you have to remember, this was in 2005 (I was about 9 or 10), before they made the WII. We also thought of a fighting area where you could fight any video game character like Super Smash Bros. Now lets go to present time, 2 days ago to be exact. Background info first. My mom and dad are separated, and I go back and forth every week. My dad remarried and had my little sister and they separated. My little sis and I were never close because she was always with my older sis. Lets get back to the story. I come to my dads from being at my moms, and I saw my sister left her WII-U. So I decided I would try it out. The game she left behind was Nintendo land. I started to play it and realized, this is exactly like Splash Mountain! I started playing it, and it was almost identical to it. Even the surroundings where with the exception of a few games left out and others added in. Needles to say, I was shocked. Now that I know that the very thing I grew up on, the one thing I called my own that I would never see, now exists. May not be a big deal to you guys, but it is to me and I thought I would share. Anything like this happen to you? Post it in the comments. I am curious as to what has happened to you guys like this.
