Apparently, Lil Wayne is opening up a pizza shop.
It'll be called Lil Seizures.

As much as he is a ****** artist in my opinion and an annoying person, no one deserves to die. Instead of death I just wish for him to disappear from the public eye, thats all.

If lil wayne and lil john were to somehow fuse, they'd make one full sized John Wayne

Wow, you're cool. if I hate popular things, can I be cool like you?
User avatar #37 to #36 - dashgamer (03/16/2013) [-]
Just because something's popular doesn't mean everyone has to enjoy it.

... I don't care about being "cool," and I don't hate these celebrities, I simply don't listen to them. You're the only one pretentious enough to declare it "cool," whether sarcastically or no, to "hate" these singers, as if our opinions matter. Get over yourself.
User avatar #42 to #41 - dvdfaust ONLINE (03/16/2013) [-]
Dude, I'm just saying lots of people put on appearances online is all. Actually, I assumed you were the original commenter, so I was wrong there... However, it's popular online to hate things that are popular IRL. Specifically the ones the other commenter mentioned. It just looks so similar to those posts you see on youtube, "lol I'm 14 and I like queen and not justin beiber and I hate my generation." It's just for likes, most of the time.
User avatar #46 to #42 - dashgamer (03/16/2013) [-]
... Dafunkad didn't say any of those things. None of us are pretending for green thumbs, the dude just said that he didn't like their music. You act as if every opinion that's contrary to what's considered popular is not genuine. My personal opinion is that their music is **** , and for that reason I don't listen to it or concern myself with the celebrity hubbub that a large majority of people freak out about. Does that mean I'm pretending to be hipster or cool or whatever the **** ? No, that just means I have my own ******* predisposition and tastes.
User avatar #47 to #46 - dvdfaust ONLINE (03/16/2013) [-]
Fair enough. Honestly, I genuinely agree with you most of the time. It just gives off that impression. It sucks, though, because Gaga might not be great, but she knows her **** , and it's -her- **** , at least now, not something a producer wants her to do, because she is the producer. Perry is definitely a talented alto, and if she had gone less into sugary pop, she could've been cool. "I Kissed a Girl," while not really amazing, was at least unique at its time. The others? Eh, I dunno 'bout 'em.

Also listen to You and I with some headphones. it's actually a surprisingly personal and nice song.
User avatar #50 to #47 - dashgamer (03/16/2013) [-]
Look, I don't want to talk about that music. I like metal and wubstep.
Plus, if I just said that I think modern music is **** , why would you expound on why you think it's not? You know how in English class they always told you that you should know your audience when you're writing? Well, I'm the wrong ******* audience.
User avatar #51 to #50 - dvdfaust ONLINE (03/16/2013) [-]
Because I think it's good to have a balanced opinion rather than a biased one, and to give anything a chance. Any specific groups you like? Maybe you could look up Dan Deacon, it's some intense electronic stuff.
User avatar #52 to #51 - dashgamer (03/16/2013) [-]
This is the same principle as "because something's popular, I should look into it or defend it." Just because opposing sides exist doesn't mean that accepting both is necessarily a good thing. There are matters in which a dialectic viewpoint is superior to a hidebound, one-sided bias, but in music... Man, nobody's going to tell me what to like and what not to like, or that I should like something just because it's there.
Deacon's pretty good. Here's what I like:
User avatar #54 to #52 - dvdfaust ONLINE (03/16/2013) [-]
I don't really see it that way, I just see it as giving both a chance. To me, not all metal and wubstep is great, but not all popular music is great, either. And yeah, I guess you're right, bias is sort of allowed in music, because it's not exactly a debate; you're allowed to prefer one thing just cuz. So... yeah, like what you like ^-^
Those are okay. For Wubstep, I enjoy Nero, for "metal" I like Nightwish, to narrow it down to the 2 groups that come to mind.
User avatar #55 to #54 - dashgamer (03/16/2013) [-]
Yeah, Nightwish is pretty epic. I listen to the classic stuff. Led Zeppelin and all that. I didn't get into wubs until I got into ponies, but listening to wubs with a rasta man shouting makes everything in gaming epic, from shooting people down to doing quests.
User avatar #56 to #55 - dvdfaust ONLINE (03/16/2013) [-]
Nightwish could improve their writing a bit, but I congratulate them on keeping their sound fresh after getting a singer with a completely different voice. Still, the entire fourth and fifth minutes in Ghost Love Score just... oh god it's so amazing. Zep is pretty good, but I gotta say when they spacey or overly philosophical, I'm not a fan... I actually really dislike Stairway. However, Rock 'n' Roll, or Good Times Bad Times? Amazing. I was kinda the same with wubs, but there were some zelda mixes I enjoyed. I like it when dubstep has a melody in it, for the most part, and without it, I'm not quite as interested.
User avatar #57 to #56 - dashgamer (03/16/2013) [-]
0o I love Led Zeppelin's lyrics. They always seem to be both pungent with meaning and entirely without it. The Battle of Evermore is one of my favorite songs. Wubstep's usually best when it takes a melodic bit of singing and extends it, but leaves it so far in the background that you yearn for more, even though you know more would ruin the appeal.
User avatar #58 to #57 - dvdfaust ONLINE (03/16/2013) [-]
Maybe. I just found it a bit too high-minded for me, and I got the impression they were trying. I could be wrong. Joe Bonham: best drummer ever. And for me, that sounds okay for wubstep. I'm not sure I know an example, necessarily. What have you heaed by the Deac?

Anyone who knows anything about rap knows that Lil Wayne's earlier albums .. the first few "Tha Carter" and "Da Drought" are extremely respected amongst other hip hop artists .. the very same that you feel have so much more talent
User avatar #11 - LemonNADE (03/16/2013) [-]
Lil Wayne from 2007 - now Is garbage.
But Lil Wayne from 99' to 06' was a GREAT assessment to hip hop. And believe it or not..Lil Wayne used to never curse in his music at all. www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLvJL2VezjM This is the first song Lil Wayne ever cursed in and It's probably his best song ever. If you're feeling open minded, check it out. Couldn't hurt. But anyway, Lil Wayne used to be an amazing artist and it sucks that all he's known for now is the ******** as of late.
User avatar #90 - quiggles (03/16/2013) [-]
Why does anyone care besides his fans, family or friends.

For ***** sake if you don't like his music just don't listen to it. It's pretty ******* petty to wish death on a guy just because you don't like his music.
User avatar #93 to #90 - trolololer (03/16/2013) [-]

don't let the red thumbs get you down. I completely agree with you. A death (no matter who it is) is a tragedy to somebody and people should respect that. You don't wish death on somebody unless they bring harm or extreme suffering to people.

Los Angeles (CNN) -- Grammy-winning and multiplatinum-selling rapper Lil Wayne suffered a seizure and "is recovering," his record label's publicist said Friday.
The New Orleans artist arguably occupies the highest rungs of the hip-hop world, but he shares them with fellow rapper Drake, who hails from Toronto.
Drake appeared at the Los Angeles hospital, where Lil Wayne is being treated, with an entourage of Wayne's friends. They pulled up chairs in the hallway near his room and set up a vigil.
Twitter has lit up with rumors, spreading fears of the worst for Wayne's outcome, but a Tweet in his name attempted to calm the tempest.
"I'm good everybody," read a message from Lil Wayne's Twitter account. "Thnx for the prayers and love."
While acknowledging a medical issue, members of the New Orleans' artist's camp
"Dont believe the nonsense about comas and tubes to breathe ... that's false!!" tweeted Mack Maine, the president of Lil Wayne's Young Money label, around 5:20 p.m) Friday.
