I just want to just tell stories about my cat Athena.
Is it sad a cat taught me within 5 years more then a human could?
So when we first got Athena, she hid under my mom's bed for about 6 months.
She rarely came out and ate, my mom would have to bring in food and put it under her bed to feed her.
It kind of taught me that, you can't hide forever. Even if you're discontent and miss your old home.
It turned out for being 14 in human years, she was a pretty lively cat.
If you were sad she would always curl up on your lap and just meow.
Also, when we first got her i had severe nightmares due to my father and his influence.
I would see stuff before i would go to sleep which also would cause panic and i would have trouble sleeping.
Athena, would go into everyone's bed. Go under their blankets and just lay beside you, until you were asleep.
She would leave and continue this cycle with everyone, and whenever you would wake up from having a nightmare. She would just be there like magic.
She was intellectual, very very smart for a cat..

i can't remember, it started at the nose and gradually worked its way into his bone, we had to put him down before it reached his brain. tried to remove the tumor but it just came back.

That really sucks. Athena the one on the right in the picture, she died a naturally. Granted she had been in a coma for three days which was quite painful due to no one wanted to end her.
So she laid curled up in a shoe box on the kitchen table.

biggs was already an adult when we found him, he was half starved so i gave him some luncheon, and we were best buddies ever since. lasted for a good 7 years.

good cat best friend.

Yea, we originally had to decisions for the cats to get, my moms friend was only aloud 1 cat and 1 dog in her new apartment.
It was hard because Athena's sister Aphrodite was faster and was able to hide.
Where as Athena didn't know what was going on to begin with.
