Let's go, favorite games of all time, and why it's your favorite.

Pic related, it's MGS3 (you get one runner-up if you need it, so, Resident Evil 4)

also wallpapers

God Damn, I never thought of it now, but I have no favourite games. It's like choosing between kids. I like all of my games equally.

Except Battlefield 3. Fuck you Battlefield 3

I played this, enjoyed the fuck out of it.

Too bad it crashed at the point in the story where you have to ambush some orcs.

Red Alert 2 / Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge
-Real Time Strategy
-Fun to play
-Cut scenes can be serious yet comical
-Game play scenarios can be challenging and different than others
-Multiplayer
-Pretty good visuals for a 2000 game
-Different endings
-Kirov will wreck everything
-Then again, so will a lot of things in the game.

I have an unopened copy of this on my coffee table, I mean, obviously it looks like you'd recommend it, but would you say it's easy to pick up and play? The only RPGs I've been playing lately are the Souls games and some retro turn-based JRPG games, not sure if that's a good jumping-off point for DA

Party makeup:
1. Tank (Sword and shield, lots of dexterity and strength)
2. Backstabbing rogue (knives, lots of cunning, Assassin and Duelist specialties)
3. Crowd control/DPS mage
4. Healer mage

OP mage abilities include Mana Clash and Blood Wound (BW is a blood mage talent)

When given the option to travel, travel to the Circle Tower first, and to the Dwarf city last.

INVEST IN BACKPACKS! They always pay for themselves and more.

Don't waste any skillpoints in Archery or Shapeshifting

That's about it.

Dark Souls, Definetely.
-Difficult compared to most modern Rpg games
-Longer than a fair few games
-Character Customization was decent although it felt like it was lacking something
-A fairly large amount of Armour and Weapons
-Big world to explore
-Dlc was worth it
-Enjoyable all round personally

You mentioned Dark Souls' DLC, so I have to ask, how full is Artorias of the Abyss? I know I sound cheap but I'm stuffy about paying more than the usual 10 dollar admission ticket, a-la Borderlands and Fallout

Imagine joining together the forest area (names slipped my mind) anorlondo and the tomb of giants i'd say its kinda similar to that length, and its got plenty of new interesting weapons and armour, four bosses, one being optional...
I personally would say its definitely worth it.
(randomly passing by :D )

It lasts a fair amount of time, the new weapons and Armour a a little difficult to get but still worth the time, the new bosses are pretty difficult and finally the sort of story/feels aspect it adds to the game is in my opinion worth it.
8/10, Better than most Dlc by a long shot.

I paid £12 more for my copy of Dark Souls just so I could get the Dlc with it, totally worth it.

Aw, I bet that sucked.
I really wanted the Limited Edition but near where I lived the cheapest it was being sold was £90 which I thought was a little darn ridiculous.

Got mine for 20 bucks, and, I mean, the case looks nice but the actual additional content was kinda pits. The art book falls apart, the case has that weird clam-shell interior (like old VHS tapes for kids?), and the soundtrack and strategy guide were digital download codes; I think that's what really annoyed me, I play a lot of Silent Hill games and the older entries used to come with CDs of all the game music, so when I see "soundtrack" I kinda hope it's another physical disc, something I can carry around, but it's all download codes.

tl; dr you didn't miss a whole bunch, I wouldn't worry

Ah, right.
Good to know that I didn't waste a large sum of money.
Still, I guess it's more for the bragging rights and the knowledge that you have the limited edition more than anything.

True.
I've just got to wait for it to arrive for my Console now.
I've had it all on PC and now I want it on Console so I can play it with my friends.
Hopefully the game is better optimized on Console/No massive lag spikes in certain areas.

Have you tried Demon's Souls? I still prefer it to Dark Souls but maybe that's just because I put 60 or 70 hours into Demon's before I got ahold of Dark, so, Legend of Zelda Syndrome possibly

(Pic related, those character stat screens were intimidating as fuck at first)

I finished the vanilla campaign on Borderlands 1 but didn't touch any of the DLC, is it really worth replaying (had to delete saves) just to get into the DLC?

I actually ended up playing it so fucking much, I did EVERYTHING, I managed to get bored with it.

I'm at least 125 hours into BL2. Not bored yet, plus, it's not all deserts, so thats a plus too.
