No, not really. I'm proud of what my favourite club has been able to build without financial doping, and a sound economic administration. Also, we're not dependent on non-British players to actually perform.

Youre getting worked up over nothing, Im only joking around but even still, unless you're fairly old, you havent been through your team doing **** , all you've done is jumped on a bandwagon like most people. I for one followed a **** team and am lucky enough to witness us get success, which Im proud of.

I became a Liverpool fan in about 2003 when I started following the BPL and football in general (I was 10), and I would say I have experienced relative success of my favorite club, and their downfall (and now hopefully rise).

Respect to you for following City from before they became successful. I hate plastic fans.

Also hoping Utd stay far off the the top 4 next season

Good to hear man, mines pretty similar, started watching football in 2002 when my granddad the only City fan in my family took me to a game. Gotta admit, I hated it at times as a kid seeing as all my friends with liverpool/manchester united fans and saw them win trophies. Didnt know a city fan till I started Secondary school.

Either way, good luck to Liverpool next year, even though I hate Suarez even more now

Yeah, I see that. You'll do good a couple of decades now. You should cross your fingers and hope that the Sheikh doesn't get tired of football anytime soon.

Yeah, lets hope van Gaal messes up Man Utd even more. Although I doubt it. Nothing beats the atmosphere on derby day against Man Utd tho.

Were you born the last time Liverpool won the BPL ?
#87 to #83 - gerfox (06/21/2014) [-]
Nope, like 95% of this site I'm not older than 24. How's that?

Aye hopefully not, there doesnt seem to be signs of him doing so with his investments so far but you never know.
#70 to #68 - gerfox (06/21/2014) [-]
He hasn't started investing yet, has he? And Man United do have enough financial power and prestige to get practically anyone they want. They can't offer CL tho.

I mean Man City, Sheik investing in the academy and all.
#90 to #89 - gerfox (06/21/2014) [-]
Yep, but the problem of City is that there are no Brits in your academy either. It's all filled up with foreigners. When nationality rules will be applied to the BPL you'll have to pay a ******** to clubs with English players to be able to have a full squad.
#91 to #90 - shanets (06/21/2014) [-]
On the contrary there is, not EDS but I think its either U18 or U16 were mainly local lads. I'm not certain and don't know the full details but I hope its true. Players that are manc in the academy that I know of are Greg Leigh, Jordi Hiwula and Devante Cole but Im sure theres more.
#92 to #91 - gerfox (06/21/2014) [-]
I think there are some rules regarding U18 or U16 players limiting the number of foreigners. The Man City academy hasn't really proven any results yet though. The only good British player I remember coming out of your academy this decade is Daniel Sturridge, and that was before the Sheikh (and he left 5 years ago).

Masterrace in what way?

It could have been any team chosen to be bought and have money pumped into it by those assholes, it's nothing to boast about.

I know but it wasn't anyone else
