Neuroscience and the hierarchy of which neurotransmitters are most important in my opinion
1. Serotonin. This little bastard is what makes us feel good when in social situations, which I believe had an evolutionary basis in that
a) group psychology since our time as primates. Imagine that you are a stupid monkey (which you really are but lets not go into that now) that touches fire. You touch something dangerous like, a thorn or you almost get killed by a dangerous predator. Your brain is smarter than you are, it creates certain pathways to make you not touch the thorn or whatever again. This happens over the course of several millions of years. Present day, we are VERY dependent on social validation thanks to the evolutionary boon it had.
b) Confidence, optimism and good judgement springs out of this chemical.
Battery is running low so I'm thinking of handing it over to the folks who can charge it, I hope you read some of what I said and most importantly give pertinent criticism.
2.

Bitch where's glutamate on this list. If you didn't have glutamate you'd just straight up die. It's responsible for carrying out like... Almost all excitatory post synaptic potential transfers of nervous depolarixation during a resonance cascade.

Lol. Stalker has nothing to do with duration, dumbass. A stalkker is a person who gods on the profile of someone then responds in s discussion he wasn't invited to.

How unselfaware are you, dude?

Except a stalker is commonly defined as a pursuer. Which does require length. And I did not enter your profile, I clicked on a board. A public place of speech, in which one does not need to be invited to butt in.

I expressed myself badly. I only feel sad because I am forced to be here by law, against my will and my own reason, their will and lack of reason. I am more strong willed though, I've fought through plenty and I'm not going to give up. I still feel pretty happy from time to time, but then the depressing realirty of my situation sets in. I feel as though I'm never going to get out, though I suppose I rationally know that I will eventually get out. Hey, the worst case is that my atoms get torn to shred in the big rip, right? Lol

I've met a few. Funny, turns out I know more than them. I'm talking reciprocal altruism, they're talking pills (their highrst authority. Pills) They are all pretty mediocre and I'm both emotionally and intellectually healthy. You know, as healthy as one can be in an institution like this.
They ALL take the easy way out (hey, take these pills and all will be OK!) Yeah, lets not mention the fact that my dad never was there for me and EVEN neglected me when I became depressed

Probably not the best way, yes, but I don't think dignifying or encouraging his going against doctor's orders is in any way beneficial either.

They want to give me mood stabilizers just because I experience both ends of the spectrum of, say, happiness and sorrow. They don't understand that I'm fine and the reason I'm here is a very long cause and effect chain involving hugely stressed out and overprotective parents/grandparents. I stopped taking some meds because they were doing literally nothing, what do my neuroscientifically/psychologically ignorant relatives do? Panick, call the very extreme psych ward and force drive me into the big city, threatening to call the police unless I comply, and here I am, have not been able to even go on a permission home for any number of time at all.

I've also been forced down on the bed and they gave me a shot in my ass and I feel like I'm never going to get out of here alive, so I threatened with suicide earlier today. Yep, I'm that desperate. The walls are all white, I can't sleep much at all part because I don't go into the sun and get melatonin a lot and part because the sun is out for too long to fall asleep for a longer amount of time.

The one of the staff members gave me lithium when I expected it to be calcium tablets and I'm generally miserable, yet I'm here because the laws state I'm supposed to be here. And that's the deepest reasoning I get from them: "LAWS SAY THIS, LAWS SAY THAT, RULES SAY THIS, RULES SAY THAT"

2. Endorphins. They give a lasting sense of comfort and are commonly experienced whenwe have sex and hug. Also working out and self damaging behaviour
3. Oxytocin. RThe mediator for trust and for morality... When it's the right amount. Too much and you become clingy. One can also use their mirror neurons to make oneself trust a person who. They previously hated.
4. Dopamine. Most commonly from .. physiological needs too, but I'm pretty sure only masturbating or sex is the only common denominator for both endorphins and dopamine.
There are probably many more neurotransmitters.. oh right
5. Adrenaline. This is what makes us active in a f/f situation. Though both this one and number 6 more often than not have a negative effect in our modern technological society.
6. I hate this one, bwcayses it causes people to be stubborn. Norepinephrine.
