I think it's too bad that Romney will inevitably win the nomination. Polls show a Paul vs. Obama general election would be the closest possible. (out of all the other republican candidates) I personally think Ron Paul's positions are better than most of the fucktards that ran for nomination. His foreign policy is okay, economic is superb (definitely better than any other republican candidate) and social policy is good (essentially everyone has a right to everything and it's not the the government's job to say otherwise). It would be "interesting" to see him magically win nomination.

There's still a chance that he could. ALL delegates (even ones that Romney won via winner-take-all primaries) are unbound, meaning if they are "bound" to vote for Romney, then they can vote for Paul if they want to. Plus there are caucus states where we win majorities/pluralities of the slate, where we will do excellent until the establishment GOP starts breaking the rules and causing a ruckus. But there's another hope--stealth delegates. There are actually Ron Paul supporters who gained slots as Romney delegates just so they could cast their vote for Paul for sure (they know the rules about being unbound). So yeah, it's not over til it's over. Look up a guy named Ben Swann on Youtube. He's got videos explaining the delegate process.

He said some bullshit in the nineties, but now hes a relatively cool guy. He advocates some extreme positions to my recollection but typically does not come without a reasoned argument. He promotes states rights, going back to the gold standard, getting rid of regulations and several branches of government that help people or the environment, an end to all these wars, and hes a vietnam vet. To me he's a mixed bag, say he sucks at about a level 45.

It's opinion, but in my personal opinion, I think he sucks about an 85. Not the worst guy ever to run for President, but far from the best.

He's a pretty cool guy from what I heard but I try not to get involved into American politics.
