I know it's possible to make a pokemon work in any tier, with the right set/strategy, but I think it would be cool if they made a new tier where they changed the levels of pokemon to make them all pretty even (like in random battles except you pick the pokemon you want)

can you make delibird work in ubers?

I Can't but it's probably possible, but that's exactly why i think it would be cool. Then someone who really likes delibird and blaziken (or something like that) can use them both on the same team

i just thought of what the metagame your thinking of could be called
balanced omni-tier

Yeah, that'd be great

That's kind of what me and chthulhu are working on. Tips and ideas to make just about any pokemon work if you know how to use it.

Sounds interesting

If I can get a reasonable strategy that gives just about every pokemon a chance to be threatening, then I'll be happy.

What tier? OU?

I suppose so.

Well good luck with that (it should be fun to try to get some of the really bad pokemon to work)

I'm leaving the littlest evolutions to the little cup, but yeah, we'll need it.

Ability: Hustle
Item: something to power it up, like choice band or life orb

Arieal Ace
Brick Break
Ice Punch/Ice Shard

Arieal ace gets massive power-ups from the ability, STAB and it's held item.

Brick break works great to get around reflect and light screen, while also dealing awesome damage.

Ice punch/shard are mandatory STAB moves, and also have great coverage

Return is already strong as hell, and would be even better after the multipliers

Yeah, that sounds about right to me. I always like Hustle and a move that never misses. Poor Ledian. I was just looking it over. Most of its abilities lean more toward an offensive set, but its stats don't quite back it up. It has access to Swords Dance and Agility, but I'm not so sure it could last long enough to make the set-up viable all on its own. Its base special attack is higher and it does have some special moves, but it doesn't seem able to boost them all on its own. I'm leaning toward a possible Dual Screen set with U-Turn and Roost, but we need to come up with something to make it more threatening as an individual.

Pair it with venomoth, and it can kick ass after a quiverpass combo. My nidoking's fucking brutal with that, so I'm sure it'll work for Ledian

Aye. Nidoking is my favorite Ground type.

Same man, any team I make in UU or above automatically has one

Also, arieal ace never misses, so it gets around hustle's downside

Yup, yup! I like it on Togekiss.
