All that, and it can probably only fire one projectile before the sear breaks apart.

Guys we need to legislate against paper! Because people who are anti-gun totally know what they're talking about!

Now give him a 3D printer

Paper kills, I demand legislation for regulation over the paper industry...universal background checks and banning assault paper are a must
#55 - jamieswhiteshirt (12/09/2013) [-]
So you made a Glock out of paper? This certainly is an interesting case, would you like an interview?

this is so stupid. 3d printers are for neckbeards and i will explain why.
for similar cost to a 3d printer, you can buy the parts and tools necessary to build an actual gun. like a metal one that doesnt break as you shoot it. just because its 'on the computer', doesn't make it better. get shop tools to build an actual gun, not a ******** 3d printer to make a weak ass device that wont be able to take any kind of abuse. plus those shop tools and metalworking and gunsmithing skills are invaluable. knowing how to code and design 3d parts is a badass skill, but it honestly pales in comparison

the technology is still in its infancy. 3d printers will have an extremely important role in manufacturing in almost every way in the future
#57 to #52 - schittibrigitti (12/09/2013) [-]
No they won't. But they will be an important part in building prototypes and maybe small amounts of highly specific parts! But the mass manufacturing will still be done by moulding or extrusion...
#68 to #57 - anon (12/09/2013) [-]
How is that not important to manufacturing?

I want one for ***** and giggles.
I have enough guns
User avatar #67 to #50 - mylazy (12/09/2013) [-]
So your whole arguments is that because guns made on it aren't great, nothing you can do with it going to be useful? I mean good god man, guns are not the only thing a 3D printer can make. In fact, making one was more just seeing if it could do it than for any practical purpose.

It's not 3d printed, it's made of paper.

I believe the point is a quickly disposable, non-traceable gun.
