Most of the good ones I know are exclusively in the game department. I know my sample size is biased, but Arizona does have a gang problem. They not-so-recently made two gang unit police officers from Phoenix Marshals in Prescott or some Indian Native American reservation after a cop was killed up there. I can't remember if it was Prescott who disbanded their gang unit due to a lack of funds or not, but which ever city it was has a pretty big gang and drug trafficking problem now.

My father is head honcho of a cop station. He's fired everyone from his best friend to a part time feminist bitching about the lack of separate changing rooms when the station didnt have the budget. I think he's a good cop overall, his force is a bunch of good guys usually because because the bad ones get a punch in the cock and fired.
User avatar #127 to #1 - wrocky (09/04/2014) [-]
then i wonder how those types of conversations happen.. like:

dadcop: ei man.. ur fired
badcop: dafuq wat i do
dadcop: u were being bad.. even if your friend, your bad
badcop: you're*

im really curious coz given a chance to be in position of authority i wanna know how to get rid of people like that

I actually think its reasonable to request separate changing rooms.
Your dad might have actually been in the wrong for firing her, but I don't know the full story. Chances are you might not either. I'm not calling your dad a liar necessarily but he might have told the story in such a way that justified his actions when he could have been the one in the wrong. Also, couldn't they have simply set up some kind of changing wall(pic, not sure about the actual name)?

This lady demanded we build seperate facilities so she could change in a place "Filthy men didn't"
Her second day, part time. The single most replaceable officer the village had on her second day threatened to punch her boss out due to a lack of funds. And the Sgts suggestion was a screen. The next three lady cops were fine with a door lock on the locker room.
User avatar #199 to #89 - sagedivinity (09/05/2014) [-]

I get enough of this "All cops are evil monsters" ******** from Facebook. Quite a few of my relatives are convinced that becoming a police officer makes you inherently evil and willing to abuse the innocent. Some of them even think that they should be allowed to kill officers if they THINK they are witnessing abuse of power (i.e. if they are getting arrested).

But I'm sure the "vigilante justice > calling the police" thing will work out well if a group of men break into your house and have more guns than you.

Its really sad how people who have never dealt with the "law" or cops keep on beveling that there are more "good cops then bad". Bottom line they don't want to understand nor will till they have to deal with the bs first hand.

But keep on thinking "it wont happen to me I am a good person" yeah lets see how well that works when you deal with lying cops.

I am a cop In Canada though but in all honesty I believe to have never abused of my power. All my collegues did not too as far as I know. And actually even though we are what you consider ''above the law'' I should tell you that a single small false step here and you're fired. So basically you're even waaay under the law. Just acting as a fringe and you're out.
