I really got into Arrow. I started watching last week and am now completely caught up. I know it isn't even close to Oliver Queens real origin, but I kinda like what it has done so far.

I really don't care about Laurel though. She's a real showstopper

I hate Laurel with a passion, every time I see her face I want to punch the screen in.

I seriously can't wait for the rest of the season, you only started last week so it isn't that bad for you but they just had a month or so long break for no reason right after introducing all those plot points and it was torture waiting to see what happens next.

I get the feeling that Oliver is starting to get under-powered. With Flash, Raj-al-Guhl, a souped up Deathstroke and a possibly super-strong Roy, he is going to need something to give him an edge.

Yeah, they already put out a teaser that Roy gets super strong, I don't think in the comics that Oliver was super strong but he did have a lot more trick arrows than he does in the show (which has been limited to regular, that single rope arrow in that bank robber episode, and some to eavesdrop every so often) so I would hope they introduce some awesome things like that to make it realistic that he would beat these people.

P.S. how the hell did both him and Merlyn survive being stabbed and the chest, possibly in the lung or heart, and get up with no ill effects?

Oliver definitely isn't supposed to be super strong in the comics, and neither is Roy. I hope they find some way of reversing this Mirakuu stuff because Speedy is a lot more about bows and arrows rather than super strength. As for your other question....

I'm guessing Merlyn had help in getting out because he was in no shape to rescue himself after being stabbed, also a few months of secluded rehab no doubt helped. Oliver stabbed himself in the shoulder so he wasn't too bad off.

What he needs is TRICK ARROWS.

But seriously, with a Flash show on the way, Wally back in the comics and a Justice League movie on the way I'm ******* STOKED for DC Comics right now
