I live in West Virginia and currently we are having a massive stinkbug and ladybug invasion. Literally, we've had to move classrooms around to accommodate the sheer volume of bugs that find their way in. My roommate and I, however, are enjoying our bug free dorm room because of the Death Lamp. Something about it is irresistible to buggies and once they fly in they can't get out. It's like a cereal bowl of bugs in there.

Those are harlequin ladybugs (or ladybirds depending on where you are from).
Here in the UK they are an invasive species which is so prolific they are out competing our native species.

We now know their secrets. We can stop them!

I'm one of those guys where if you kill a ladybug I kill you. Idk what's wrong with me but lately I've been trying to save bugs that enter my room. Even spiders. I hate spiders with a passion and yet I try my best not to kill them. Lately I've been a serial killer because they don't cooperate
User avatar #24 to #17 - retentions (11/14/2013) [-]
fun fact those are not lady bugs, they are actually an invasive species of beetle from asia used in organic gardening
#14 - amazingmanagain (11/14/2013) [-]

I called roly poly olies potato bugs when I realized how silly it was for a 20 year old to call a bug a roly poly olie...

I am incredibly afraid of lady bugs but everyone thinks its irrational because they are "cute". They just use their looks to gain your trust! Little ******* going to take over the world

one time I was walking to a store or something, can't remember but any way as i was walking a ladybug landed on my arm and I thought "Hey must be good luck" and the it bit me and flew away. Dam ladybugs.
