Is it bad i know the both name and brand of that shower gel?

Lush - Snow Fairy. and as gay as it looks, it smells ******* amazing.

I don't care if it sounds gay, Lush in general is ******* boss! You smell like the ******* god of smells and people line up to take a sniff and run their hand(s) through your silky smooth hair.

Oh, it also leaves you covered in iridescent glitter, just in case using it didn't leave you feeling quite unmasculine enough.

Also also, they changed the "how to use" section on the newer bottles to read " "Oh, come one - we dont need to tell you how to use a shower gel do we!!?"

I ******* love Lush. Except for this piece of **** right here. Allow me to tell you a story.

This massage bar smells delicious, like cinnamon and magic. I left it on my bedside table one night and went to sleep. Upon waking, I noticed all the seeds were missing from the top. It only took me a few moments to realize that a mouse had snuck its furry little ass into my room, climbed up onto my table, and had a midnight ******* snack inches from my face as I slept.

Disgusting.

Yeah actually, I'm really concerned about the global geopolitical implications of the next century. I mean, China is definitely set up for some sort of trainwreck with their ridiculously pungent growth but as well know there are so many factors. India is gaining a lot of influence in the middle east and might even rise as a larger power in the area. With such an immense population and good access to oceans I can only wonder what they are going to do. As for the U.S. our economy is a mess and recurring recession long term depression almost seem to be more and more certain. Of course if there is another space race within the next 100 years things could end much differently.

Really I suppose it's a matter of looking at small pieces rather than the big picture. If the U.S. would stop being China's slut and stop being so filthily corrupt we might be able to get our **** together. After all, exporting and manufacturing has always been the true gateway to a powerhouse economy and improvement of quality of life for the common citizen. The feedback loop in capitalism is important but I feel like it's too far gone in today's society.
#10 to #7 - shmengels (01/01/2014) [-]
mmm, yes. I see. though that is completely irrelevant to what I was implying you discuss... those were very valid concerns.

India would not be able to rise as a power in it's area without going through the exact situation that's ******* China over today, that is a sort of industrial revolution which, in the case of a partially third world country like China or India, can never go through without massive environmental damage, mainly due to the sudden surge in job demand and hastily built infrastructure to fill that demand. China's exponential growth is slowing down due to increased awareness in the lower class of unionized labour as well as pressure from the international community in terms of labour rights, this means China will eventually reach an equilibrium which puts their economy on a much more realistic scale. At this point India may seem to be a more dominant power but the same forces will act on India even faster due to it's lower amount of resources and we will also see it come to equilibrium further down the road. The bigger concerns are the third world countries which show no signs of progress, like Mexico, who seem to exist only to fester pollution and unrest. These are the countries that will pose the biggest problems, especially when petroleum runs out and these countries are left without power due to their tendency to not progress. Picture the backdraft of a third world society with a history of unrest and violence, who is suddenly left without electricity but know damn well the rest of the world has what they want...
#52 to #44 - infinitereaper (01/02/2014) [-]
Yes but the real issue is influence. One of the main strategies of the U.S. at least in some experts opinions, is that it tries to quell any major power from rising that could potential "unify" the middle east. This was the original intent of Al Qaeda, back when things were more highly organized. Aside from that, the reason India is of such major interest is because of it's access to the Indian Ocean. Basically, they have access to just about every major trade route. As we well know, whether or not a country has access to the ocean can mean the difference between empire and bankrupt city state. So I suppose it's highly political. No major power wants to deal with "new kids on the block" so to speak. That being said, you're right, there isn't any reason to fear. But it's probably a country to look out for.

Regarding China I just hope they trainwreck, and wreck hard. The U.S. would do well to rely n them anymore. And China itself is so ****** up that it could really use 3 revolutions and an eco movement. I'm not really worried about petroleum running out. Other than speculation causing more inflation on the price, I think we're probably going to see enough of it left in our lifetimes. Unfortunately.

Anyways, I really wish mankind would just unify into one big massive country. If I had the power I'd do it myself. It's like that dude in the OVA of Code Geass said: "The dictatorship of one talented man is more beneficial to humanity than the democracy of the ignorant masses."

Basically if only someone could manage to force the world as one. It would cost a lot but in the long run it would be best for humanity. At this rate, we're just going to see stagnation and more *********** . Frankly I'm tired of thinking about it.
User avatar #53 to #52 - infinitereaper (01/02/2014) [-]
Oh and I'd like to add the whole "quelling potential powers from rising" thing is the same reason we pushed back Russia when it tried to invade Georgia. Russia (geopolitcally speaking) has serious border issues. I believe it was something like "they're wide open and vulnerable" and have issues with the mountains or something, so of course they want Georgia in order to gain an advantage. But you know, NATO and the US are basically strangling the world's countries in order to keep them in check.

A unified world is definitely what we're moving toward (UN) but simple ignorance dictates that unless we see some sort of unifying cataclysm (major breakthrough in space travel, comet travelling towards earth, etc.) there are still too many people (and entire cultures) who stubbornly refuse to relinquish power to anyone they deem unfit (anyone not sharing their exact beliefs) this wouldn't be a problem except for the sheer volume of groups that operate like this, and these splinter-groups will continue to be a problem until progress becomes more important than desperately clawing for control of whatever insignificant area they feel they're entitled to.

I don't want to start a discussion or anything, but I think that "Clash of Civilizations" written by Samuel Huntington should be more than interesting to you. He is the worlds leading social-anthropologist (or however you spell it) and suggests that our future problems are not based on either political nor economical aspects. What we face is the crisis of identity, we will be separated into civilizations, the Western, Russian, Indian and Chinese. Oceania, Africa and Latin-America are not included in the main picture, but I think you get it.

His idea is that our culturulal differences will only continue to expand together with the increasingly right-wing movement that is growing in Europe these days due to immigration. I don't want to write anymore, because I can't say i support the thesis, but I find it extremely fascinating to read about it.

Times change. America can't be a super power forever - no country ever is. It was Rome's turn, then Britain, then Russia and America. Now it's China time - it lacks a few human rights laws in some places, but they are not going to turn EVIL! and takeover the world via a cruel, dark dictatorship. Accept this (unless your just trolling, then whatever.)
In a thousand years time it will be India's turn, then South America and then maybe Africa - we'll just have to see. The world changes.

Well, China's trying to loosen up on their whole grip on reproduction. Just recently, they added to the law on having children that if one parent was an only child, they can have more than one kid. That hasn't been changed in such a profound way in decades. I think they realize that a smaller population of youth will have to pay for the rapidly aging current population, so they're trying to compensate by allowing more kids to be born and possibly heading into reproductive freedom.

I hope we have a space race soon and colonize other planets. That'd be awesome.
