any ideas you have for better jokes involving games would be appreciated
I worked on this joke for like 5 minutes, and worked on the art for like 2 hours, Honestly this was more of a test -run for more comics to come

No one speaks of BOS and Tactics. Also counting one and two as being in the same series as 3 and New Vegas is stupid. They are nothing like each other. Any way you look at it, there's basically 2 fallout games.

the problem is we have been asking for multiplayer in elder scrolls for a long time and when they finally give it is in mmo form completly ruining the feeling of the game.

in the elder scrolls game you can be aksurt, hero of kvatch.
in eso you meet peeniislord13 who says "noob im gonna pwn you like i pwned your mom" followed by "xDD".

when we asked for multiplayer we meant coop...

finish it on both, low and high chaos, do all the **** you want on high chaos. And then finish the game on low chaos, and with only blink, and yet with only lv1 blink, undetected, and not a single body found, also not killing a single one person, and key targets eliminated by non-lethal ways.
***** was cash yo

Currently I'm after every single achievement in steam for Dishonored. Base game is completely done, even with secret achievements, now for the dlc's. I pretty much finished base game at least 4 times now, first two when I cracked it, and then two when I bought it, cause it was so awesome.
#93 to #50 - crosskill (07/19/2014) [-]
I really love this game. I've played it several times now, got all of the achievements and **** .
The only thing I disliked about the game - it was too easy and too short.
Giving you an ability that lets you watch enemies through the walls?
That ability kind of makes things like keyholes almost obsolete. And the mana cost for both Void Gaze and Blink are so low that your mana regenerates fully after a few seconds.
Maybe if the mana cost was higher, so there was some risk involved. But even then, there are mana potions around almost every corner.
I would've loved to see more gadgets too.

Want to make it difficult?
Get the Ghost achievement on hardest difficulty without any powers, except for jump enhancement. That's pretty hard.

But the game is still amazing. It was my GOTY for 2012.

The DLC is pretty good too. Daud is a ******* badass. It's definitely worth the money or the time it takes to torrent .
User avatar #51 to #50 - theimmortalbeaver (07/19/2014) [-]
I haven't played it nearly that much, but I still go back to it from time to time just to screw around. The world is just so damn well put together! The rumors that Arkane are working on Prey 2 make me seriously excited. Dishonored, in space, with laser guns. I seriously don't know how much better a pitch for a game could get!

are you kidding?
in all 5 es games there is no mention of the war in eso, this thing never really happened and was all of a sudden established so zenimax could make a quick buck off the elder scrolls franchise by slapping es on to it and giving each area a name from provinces.
it makes no sense and is completely shoehorned in.

But ESO is a complete debacle which no one should be jealous of.
#66 - anon (07/19/2014) [-]
I can't believe how badly they messed up ESO. They tried to make a game based on immersion but completely ruined it by just slabbing you in the middle of an army of "chosen ones".

World of Warcraft and games like went down the road of quick, fast questing. There was story, but it was all just fluff. In some cases, you were "the only one", but it never came up much in the grand scheme of things. Essentially, you were a soldier in an army.

KOTOR did the opposite, it centered on story progression and character development. You had an in depth story to explore, and the game essentially played like a large single-player/co-op game with multilayer capabilities. When teaming up with others, it felt as though you were part of a small group of elites.

#67 to #66 - anon (07/19/2014) [-]
ESO on the other hand, took aspects of each other and slammed them together. You are constantly reminded how you are the most specialist person around. You are something unique, something that can stop the evil, and only you can do it! Well, apart from literally everyone else in the entire game! I mean hell, you can save the life of the bloody king pretty much as soon as you step out the door! Well, you and the conveyor belt of other chosen-ones constantly saving the king. Again it's like playing a single player game, only you are playing alongside every single other person who is playing that single-player game!

first of all thank you for believing in me, and I will try and make more, and the reason there are 2 ESO's, is because The logo for elder scrolls online, is the same for the elder scrolls in general. If i'm wrong about that would appreciate help choosing logos for them.
User avatar #19 to #17 - ridivey (07/19/2014) [-]
also, to tell the difference between the two, elder scrolls has sunglasses, and elder scrolls online doesnt, so that is just what I'll be using for now, until I think of something better to depict them
User avatar #21 to #19 - Toshiro (07/19/2014) [-]
Yeah I see what you mean. Hmm... Prehaps the answer isn't a logo, but a prop. Could always put an elder scroll on it's back, and one of those scaled armor helms on it to better diversify it.

Suppose it's a tricky situation. Ah! If the elderballs are brothers, then why not make the first elder scroll ball the largest? That way it furthers it's age, and its "brothers" . Also gives it opportunity for character like "back in my day, we only needed two dimensions, and we liked it!"

Fallout 3 was a lot better than New Vegas
#78 to #34 - anon (07/19/2014) [-]
Im on the fence. 3 had better atmosphere as you went through the broken remains of a fallen civilization, pillaging raider-riden supermarkets and such. New Vegas is 2 admin's minions away from being a western-shooter.

Fallout 3 also had more freedom, you really had more control over where you went and when you went.
New Vegas pretty much forced you on a set path for the first couple of hours, as it just blocked off other possible paths. Remember the convenient army of Death claws blocking passage to Vegas from Goodsprings? Exactly...

But New Vegas had better mechanics, more crafting options, more guns, gun modifications, better tutorial aswell. Infact you could skip most of the tutorial and it was much shorter then the lenghty exposition of Fallout 3, awesome first time... waste of time the second.
And i think New Vegas had a better story, atleast it tied things together better and offered some actual choices for you, the player, to make.
