I've seen it and i liked it. it was brutal, bloody and there was a chance everything could happen. not like you know that the main character will never die, in AoT it feels like they could keep on going even if the main character died and that makes it alot interesting.

OH BTW
I like anime, but i really dislike fan-service. as in weird jokes, "Plots", and a sad attempt to be funny.
Attack on Titan has very little of this and its bearable. an Example: i really disliked Soul Eater and only watched 2 episodes, the plot was interesting but the fan-service was horrible.
can anyone recommend anything without fan-service and perhaps a little bloody?

It's pretty overrated for what it's praised for. The animation really isn't all that good. They reuse a ton of it and there are significantly long portions where there will only be still images with people talking over them. Plus there's no gore. At all.

It's alright but that's about it. Just read the manga.

S2 aint coming any time soon. Wait 2 to 3 years so that it can have enough source material.

Just don't believe the hype. It's pretty much a Naruto all over again with some asspull here and there.

It's damn good. It's also on the free side of Hulu, no H+ account needed

No 1st season+1 OVA is out and the second season might start this summer but it's not very likely to

I've watched about half of the anime and from what I've seen I can confirm that Attack on Titan is worth watching.
And yes, it's still going because the manga isn't over yet. The more pages of manga there is the more episodes of anime there will be.

I liked it and I heard there was going to be a second season, but I can't say for sure.
If you do watch it, take note - there's a scene after the credits of the last episode. If you don't watch that you're going to be confused by season two, should it come out.

The anime is pretty good but gory. If you do not mind gore then it should not be much of a problem for you. According to me it has a good storyline but some parts gets repeatedly played in too many intros where you can not skip because of the risk of missing something.

Yes, I think new episodes will come soon enough.

they won't, the anime caught up to the manga and the manga progresses slowly

Really? Does that mean that they need to make enough chapters in the manga before releasing again, or do you mean that they stopped completely?

actually i was wrong, but the manga isn't far enough ahead to make a new season yet

Oh. Then I will sit and wait. I think i might actually wait for both the manga and the TV series to finish before continuing watching them.

manga have a tendency to continue on forever, especially the ones that only release about once a month

Still worth it. I hate waiting for the next chapter or episode all the time so I just wait for a whole series to finish or watch currently finished series and mangas.

The author said it's going to run for a more than twice as long as it's already running. 20 more volumes IIRC.

I just read enough different manga that there is always a new episode up

Won't that make it harder for you to remember what happen in the last episodes or chapters?

I guess that would just take too long for me. I will just keep on with my current way of doing it. Sometimes having patience lets you understand stuff like irregular a storyline even better.
