Our ancestors were also all one celled organisms at one point. I don't see people claiming we're all one celled organisms.

It's so easy to get spiteful towards others, especially here, and particularly with you. But that's a waste of time. It won't solve anything, and it serves to teach you to recognize when you've been a fool, and I feel that time for me is now just by even trying to talk about this with you.

before she died, she had Multiple Sclerosis (MS). A disease that rendered her paralyzed below the waist. Over the years it even began affecting her speech, and later her memory. (This all began developing shortly after I was 2 years of age, mind you. I'm a subject of study because my earliest memory was of an incident that ocurred with my mother when I was just over 2 years old, that is documented by hospitals, date-wise and evidence entirely).
Anyways, because of this disease, she lived in a hospital bed in my home for most of my life and of that time I knew her. Throughout the years, she would go to the hospital due to infections, kidney failures, and the likes.
Around the time of January, 2005, she went in for the last time because of near-fatal kidney stones. It turned out that these had to be operated on, they could not be passed, nor could any medicine eliminate them. They were very dangerous and could result in organ failure, so I was told.
The surgeries went down, they told my father and I that they removed them all, and she would make an eventual recovery. What we weren't told however, was that they ended up missing one. It was a fault of the hospital and doctors and should have never happened, and she went into a coma because of the complications in this, and went back into surgery. They were successful the second time, however, she was in a vegetative state, living off of life support. The Doctors told my father that it was either life or death, she could live by the machine, or we could pull the plug and end this terrible existence. My father, out of respect to my mother's wishes, did the latter.
The Funeral was held on February 12th, my father's birthday.
She passed away on February 8th.
My mother's birthday was February 7th.
My Birthday is February 6th.

February ******* sucks.

Anyways, whatever exists beyond the veil of eternal sleep is much better than what my mother would have received here, after that.

I'm not sure if you're trying to be retarded but it sure as hell working. The mere fact that you both pick out something pedantic to whine about and associate conservatism with religion proves that you're a fedora faggot. I chose religious monuments because they truly reflect the beauty of how diverse our world is.

music, art, etc stems from culture, hip hop and jazz are from the african-american culture for example. if the world was identical, the most popular music (ie. pop) would define music for a very long time, with very little room for innovation or new styles of music, such as Gamelan music from Indonesia.

If you'd like a homogenous country with no culture, I suggest you move to North Korea.

Okay, no seriously, I'll try to be clear:

All of conservatism (especially British and German conservatism) hold religion, tradition and paternalism as their highest tenets. I know what I'm about. I've read a lot about political ideologies, and I've been very interested in conservatism (especially because I find it so repugnant).

Read some political essays by Edmund Burke, and you'll understand that I am speaking the truth; he is one of the fathers of conservatism.

You, on the other hand, seem very oblivious to what conservatism is. I will desist replies until you come with a more erudite argument.

Finally, I agree that I was wrong in saying all cultures should be destroyed; but I still believe that race has nothing to do with culture (I don't think you could really argue against this, since Caucasians have (more like "had") so many different cultures). I admit that you are right.

Not yet, but in the long run, we won't be around to see it, but it is a possibility.
It's already started to happen culture wise, most of the world is adapting to the western culture wether they like it or not. There's still a lot of diveristy in the western culture, but you get the idea. We need different people from different cultures with different ideas if we want to evolve as mankind. But that's long down the road anyways, who knows, we might be extinct way before this scenario is even a real possibility.

It's also a possibility that we'll use up all of the resources on our planet and die a slow, cold death. That doesn't mean we should all go back to the Stone Age and start an agricultural life again.

That's true, but Western culture is in turn being influenced, especially in America. America has an overall culture, but it has many, many sub-cultures. Some are from the world, some are home grown, but they aren't disappearing just because people are having babies with people who aren't the same color as them.

i said CONSIDERING HOW MUCH OUR KNOWLEDGE OF GENETICS HAS CHANGED. As much of a genius as darwin was for his work on evolution, his speculations on genetics were just that, speculations. at the time of writing, there was little work done on genetics, and it was only observational of traits. given the work that has been done in modern genetic studies, with the discovery of DNA and gene sequences, the work of any scientist from 150 years ago is somewhat negligible. Pythagoras theorem is mathematical, which is a completely different ball game to biology. Pythagoras theorem was proven to be true at its time of conception, because it is a MATHEMATICAL theorem (well, modern physics shows that whether Pythagoras theorem is true depends on the shape of the universe, but lets not get into that). That is completely different from the speculation given by darwin.

Most people realize that hating entire groups of people based off of fake science or the actions of a few radicals is kind of stupid, and that is by far the prevailing mindset in the world so I would consider that the winning side.

It's one thing to hate the radicals in a religion and another to hate everyone that practices it by association. It's also kind of ridiculous to ascribe the actions of a millennia and a half ago to the people of today.

Clearly a ******** statistic. If there is already at least 0.23 BRUs until you provide an actual unit, I'm calling them Blatant Racism Units among Homo Sapiens, Homo Erectus can't possibly account for all of those differences. The difference has to start at at least 0.23 BRUs, before you can even start measuring the variation across species. Or you can choose to ignore those points, which is misrepresenting the data to fit your bias. So this is either just blatantly lying or bad math.

Furthermore, we don't have a complete Homo Erectus genome to decode, much less enough to determine what genes were represented in the entire population of them. It's impossible to test that hypothesis to begin with.

mtDNA is only located in the mitochondria. It has a very specific task and can afford very little variation so it doesn't change much over time. If there is an mtDNA mutation, there is almost no chance of survival, thus those variations are highly unlikely to be passed down. Plus, there is less mtDNA to begin with, which means there is less to change anyway. mtDNA does not affect the variation among organisms. It is not relevant to measuring differences among species. For example, horse mitochondria is often implanted in people to treat mitochondrial disorders. Most of their mtDNA is not human, but they don't exhibit any more horse traits than beforehand. For all intents and purposes, they are still 100% human.

Chromosomal DNA, on the other hand, can sustain much more variation and still create a viable reproducing organism. A mutation is much more likely to be passed on. And since there is so much more chromosomal DNA, there's a lot more opportunity for variation to arise. Chromosomal DNA is also what determines the overall physical characteristics of an organism. These are the only genes that are relevant to speciation and variation among cellular life.

Because mtDNA is isolated to the mitochondria and chromosomal DNA is located in chromosomes. They are entirely separate entities. mtDNA does not affect what traits are expressed by the organism.

And if I correctly understand your last question, mtDNA is only passed on by the mother. For example, if you had a black mom and a white dad, mtDNA would only say you're black. Chromosomal DNA would indicate the reality that it's both. If you wanted to accurately determine somebodies ethnic origins, you'd have to use chromosomal DNA. Furthermore, the mtDNA stays relatively constant down the maternal line, no matter how much variation there is among the fathers. For all intents and purposes you could be white and still have African mtDNA. Only chromosomal DNA could be used to determine "which person belongs where."

You do know neanderthals had higher level of intelligence compared to humans right? The humans were more violent and they took large risks. Neanderthals were less of risk takers and preferred peaceful community. They were in no way less advanced than humans, arguably more advanced.

Do you have proof for this? There is also zero proof that those supposed qualities carried over to Eurasians that bred with them.

Never said they carried over. I am just pointing out that it is ridiculous to try and say that neanderthals were inferior to humans.

They had larges skull sizes which would be due to housing a larger brain. They appear to have been stronger than humans due to their robust build based on their bones. Based on their tools containing stone that was nearby t can be concluded that they did not trade over long distances and appeared to lack the social function to form large communities or war groups. The quality of tools found are superior to the tools found by humans, suggesting that they had high brain function for learning rather than large social function. Some of the advanced hunting tactics and tool making they took part in would of been impossible without a form of language. They also had a gene that humans have that links to language. Due to Neanderthal tools that were found in places that could only be reached by sailing, and due to basic dugout boats discovered it is safe to say they used boats before any human did. They buried dead before humans did. It is possible they used forms of medicine due to dead having traces of certain flowers. The only evidence of violence is a fractured skull that healed, suggesting that if it was violence it was resolved. They constructed more complex structures and controlled fire before humans did. It is also possible that neanderthals made musical instruments before any humans did based on the Divje Babe Flute.

Now if you are suggesting that humans that are more white interbred with Neanderthals you are suggesting that they interbred with a more advanced species. While that doesn't prove any of the traits got passed on, it doesn't help your point any either.

First off, larger brains don't indicate higher classical intelligence. In fact, those with genius IQs typically have slightly smaller than average cranial capacities.

Neanderthal tool-working was much less advanced than the humans who came in. We had much sharper tools than any thing Neanderthals had and used much longer shafts for spears and other tools, which indicates we had some comprehension of leverage that Neanderthals didn't.

The gene you're referring to is FoxP2, Neanderthals had it too, but we have a lot more copies than any Neanderthal has been found to have. Plus, they simply didn't have the throat necessary to form complex language.

They were highly advanced, but there isn't much to suggest that they were any more advanced than we were. They just got settled in first so they had more time to develop. Once we got there, we caught up pretty quickly.

My point was that the image implied that Africans were somehow less human since they were farther from whites than our entire species was from the most closely related species. I was explaining why that is. If you want to take other inferences from the Neanderthal DNA then go for it.

That is essentially what I am saying as well. Evolution does not mean the species becomes more "advanced" it means that the species changes. All I am saying is its not a good thing to be considered more human than Neanderthal.

Well considering Neanderthals could be considered more advanced I would consider that more of a bad thing to be more closely related to humans. However it really doesn't matter much considering the traits the Neanderthals have were not passed down. The only thing I wanted to point out was that Neanderthals were not really bad in comparison to humans.
