Dude, it's called a negative edge. My home pool has one...

You're in absolutely 0 danger. You'd have to jump out.
#64 to #62 - hazardpay (01/18/2014) [-]
Too bad you cant use these without risking you're life
User avatar #80 to #64 - gitanisme (01/18/2014) [-]
Yes you can, just don't wander around the edges.
#106 to #64 - anon (01/18/2014) [-]
If you're too stupid to be able to stay in the pool and you can somehow afford a pool like the one in the content, you should invest in putting up some sort of fence or barrier around the edges.
User avatar #74 to #64 - empithree (01/18/2014) [-]
yes. I AM LIFE
User avatar #68 to #64 - Dap (01/18/2014) [-]
Well you can. for about 9-10 inches the edge is just an low incline. I've walked right on the "edge" of the water where it spills off into the troph.
User avatar #70 to #68 - hazardpay (01/18/2014) [-]
i meant in op's pic, the edge of that pool is just going to be a straight drop down if you're not paying attention.
User avatar #85 - Albudda (01/18/2014) [-]
And then the owners were arrested because their pool is shaped a little bit like a gun
#6 - include (01/17/2014) [-]
I wouldn't swim, there is no guarding near the edge.

you realize that the pool is at least 3-4 feet deep, and while in the pool you would more than likely have to actually put yourself in the position to fall in order to see the height you are afraid of falling from. relax and just swim man
User avatar #26 to #6 - alexthebest ONLINE (01/18/2014) [-]
I've always thought that too, until I remembered:

How many times have you accidentally fallen out of a swimming pool?

This is the pool in the hotel of the swedish tv-series "Paradise Hotel". I think the hotel is in Mexico for you who wondered. Also, if you wondered what the show is about, it's about swedish 20-25 And a 35 year old saying he's 27 year olds drinking alcohol, ******* , partying and what not in this place. They supposedly "play a game" where they trick each other and they have to leave and **** and in the end someone wins half a million swedish money almost 100.000 US Dollar . Adjö!

It's an infinity pool. Perfectly safe. When I went to the Bahamas once they had one over a 140 foot cliff, and the only way to FALL on that 140 foot cliff was to jump out of the pool from the edge.
