I'm pretty sure the lore states that no human remembers where earth is anymore.

Sury, here you have a full list of all novels about it wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Category:Novels

I can recommend the Horus Heresy Series and the Space Wolves series but I don't know how much you'll understand without a bit of background knowledge

there was no nuclear wasteland on that timeline.
#79 to #3 - presentdent (10/13/2013) [-]
The point is that Adventure Time is a post-apocalyptic, nuclear war story. Futurama, while including two apocalypses prior to 3000 (the first Alien Invasion of modern new york, and then the alien invasion of re-medieval old york) it's not really a post-apocalyptic story.
#84 to #79 - John Cena (10/13/2013) [-]
It takers place after an apocalypse. Therefore, it is post-apocalyptic. I think what you mean is that it isn't a dystopian future.
#88 to #84 - presentdent (10/13/2013) [-]
I added on the 'nuclear war' bit for a reason.

Fallout 3 and NV were like like, wow, just wow.
Dont get me wrong 1 and 2 were cool, 2 was pretty good actually.
but F3 and NV IMO best video games ever.
Flawless. Heck gee gosh diddly darnit, ill even give an awesome gif or pic to anybody who can point out considerable flaws in 3 or NV.
(apart from half the iron sights not being zeroed in NV)
Pic realated, my wallpaper (i rotate them if anyone gives a **** ).
also adventure times great.
#111 to #33 - ffinfinity (10/13/2013) [-]
Yeah I agree with you the only flaws in both of those games were constant glitches and freezes which considering the huge size of both, but other than that both of those games were the best of their decade.
User avatar #102 to #33 - sasyboncho (10/13/2013) [-]
New Vegas was my favourite Fallout game, and these may seem more like complaints than flaws but..
1. There was no way to play the game after beating it unless you load a previous save.
2. Some side quests and parts of the main quest were bugged beyond belief.
3. The game was very prone to glitching/freezing/crashing and most of it was never fixed.
#165 to #102 - kentuckyfriedcrack (10/14/2013) [-]
nah man you could continue after you finished the game if you got the DLC packs,
which were essential IMO.
especially for NV, dead money was as good as the main quest line and added so much to the experience, same with lonesome road. Old world blues was good, and so was honest hearts, although they were both really short. Honest hearts was awesome, actually
User avatar #166 to #165 - sasyboncho (10/14/2013) [-]
No.. Not what I meant. I mean when you beat the final mission at Hoover Dam, you can't play past that, you have to reload a previous save.
#168 to #166 - kentuckyfriedcrack (10/14/2013) [-]

I don't watch the show. Should I?
User avatar #22 to #21 - thebestpieever (10/13/2013) [-]
Well, if you catch it it is definitely worth watching that episode. I've only seen about 6 myself, but I've enjoyed them a lot.

yes. yes you should.
#24 to #21 - brunt (10/13/2013) [-]
I don't think it says when it's set except that it's after the 'mushroom war'.
User avatar #65 to #21 - romeosdistress (10/13/2013) [-]
The entire show is set in a post apocalyptic future set after the "mushroom war", where the mushrooms refer to mushroom clouds, implying the world was destroyed by nuclear war. I haven't seen new episodes in a while, so I could be wrong and they might have gone into more detail since then, but they tend to keep it pretty vague. All I know is that both the Ice King and Marceline were alive during the war.
User avatar #2 - enclavexremnant (10/12/2013) [-]
All going according to Finn's plan...
