I think the real problem here is that the "salt" at Wendy's, contains more than just salt.

2. the company that made the package is probably protecting itself from being sued because the name salt is not explanitory...yes some people use that fact to "win" in court. stupid but it works. the law is weird if you ask me.

Though there's clearly "peanut" in the name, they have in the allergy information that it MAY contain peanuts. And why do you even need it there in the first place? If you didn't notice that it had peanuts and you have an allergic reaction, natural selection just took over.
