speaking of PCs, i have one right now, and i am on it, with windows 7 and i think it is exceptional, amazing. i am not sayin that Macs suck, theyre very good too, BUT, PCs are cheaper and can do the same amount of work than the Mac.

I therefore vote PC

Well, Macs seem like a work-space for Vloggers, college kids, etc and of course im saying this now but its not going to get a virus (until they make one and i'll give that person 1,000,000 dollars if they do) But Pc is for like gamers, and the only business it seems that's in it is Microsoft office which you can download both mac and PC. Honestly though the reason why i switch is because of the fucking vista. Vista sucks and windows should have take their time rather than cluttering that shit up. First day i had my laptop BAM blue screen of death... That's where i got pissed off.

Actually, there are over 60 viruses for Mac's floating around. The only reason there aren't more is because the Mac user base has been so small. In 2005, Apple had only 3% of the market share, today they are closer to 10%. Microsoft, on the other hand, has had 90% of the market share, so they have been the bigger target. There is no inherent security advantage to having a Mac aside from the fact that Macs aren't much of a target at this point, but it is becoming more of one.

Oh, and I've had Vista for about 2 years now, and haven't had a BSoD yet!

well a mac and a pc are better at different things, for a business/gamer i recommend a pc, for an artist/architect/musician/engineer/designe r (most creative platforms) i would go with a mac

Listen, do not get a mac unless you are heading into an art field that deals with computers. Such as graphic design, animation, and so on. If you are one of those people who get a mac cause you think you are the shit for having one, you fail at life.

PC are good for playing games, typing papers, and any other non artistic project. Why pay more for MAC programs if you are just planning on playing games or typing papers or just messing around on the internet occasionally?? Listen people, every program that PC's have are double in price for MAC. I know, I have one. But i am going into the art field, so yeah.

PC's are my hero when it comes to typing papers, and MAC's are my hero when its comes to design
